Longest custom level?

Which is your longtest custom level what you maded or completed or see?

I am watch many youtube videos and play many packs.

I think i have my personal record. My final Level Custom 3+ have 25 minutes time limit. Its take me 23 minutes and Armani did it much faster, but still some avarage 20 minutes. Luckily this level is quite easy. Its migt take much less progress than my levels where is 45 secons time limit.

Other longs levels. Crane Pack Chaos 30 bronxe talisman take me over 12 minutes. How ever gold talimsan under 3 minutes.

How ever im not never are see 25 minutes custom levels expect my own. How ever its extrmely genius and very graphical level. Alos i got pefect idea. I´ll say its my one greates levels visual.

Is anyone make even longer levels`?

Way back in the Cheapo days I had a topic for level records, and two levels stood out for being huge, sprawling levels that took a long time to complete:

"Absolute Ultimate Challenge" by namida, time limit 37:45, my best completion was about 25:00
"The long trek to freedom" by Adam, time limit 39:00, my best completion was about 32:30

God Save The Queen clocks in at 9 minutes, that's probably my longest in terms of how long the level actually takes to complete (as opposed to how long the level provides to complete it, I'm sure I have ones with longer time limits somewhere...)

A while ago I started a level with the goal of it taking more than 1 hour IGT to complete, but without being completely trivial. I'll post it here when I eventually get around to finishing it.


Meanwhile, I had a look at your 25-minute level and the version I have (1.04b) is impossible to complete due to a hidden trap near the exit which spans the full height of the level. Thankfully I spotted it before I started trying to solve the level!

The level from the Cheapo days that immediately springs to mind (without being huge) is Insane Steve's "Tribute to Benny Hill". I don't remember if it had a 29:59 or 59:59 time limit, but the time limit was meant to serve as a hint. I just had a look at the Lix remake, and the intended solution takes about 20 min.

Long time ago I posted an idea on how to make levels where the time needed to solve is exponential in the level size (see last two paragraphs here). I made a Lix version (which I haven't released yet) that takes about 10 minutes to solve, but if I wanted I could make minor tweaks so it takes 100, 1000 or 10000 minutes (or really however long I want). It's not even huge, and only uses a single skill.

The Neolemmix version had a 30 min timer.  Was in the Circus tile set. and here is the replay (shows done in 16:15.88)

Use enlight tool you can see here is much more hidden traps too. This make this level so huge. You have to run Zombie around leves disarmed those hidden traps. You dont want notice this when you make a lot progress. This level is painfully long.

The longest level that I have created, is a Level for Lemmix (which I have posted it on the "Lemmix Level Pack Topic") . It is called "The squares fight back (part 2) , it has a time limit of 20 minutes , and it's intended solution, is close to 17 minutes.

The longest levels that I have created for Neolemmix, are "Airborne Rodents" , which has an intended solution, that is close to 13 minutes, and "Cyberlems 2555 - Part 2" , which has an intended solution, that is around 12 minutes. Both levels , can be found in my pack , called "Mikes Lemmings Version 2".

The longest level , that I have solved is a level for Neolemmix by nin10doadict , called "By popular demand" , and my solution for that level , was close to 20 minutes. That level , can be found on the Casualemmings 2.0 pack.

Mine is definitely “The Grand Puzzle”, the last level from Lemmings World Tour. Most solutions clock in at around 13-14 minutes.

Also, at a width of 4000 pixels, it’s definitely the “longest” / “widest” level ever made.

Use enlight tool you can see here is much more hidden traps too.

Now I finally have the confirmation that what you mean when you say “enlighten” is clear-physics mode .

From the outset, it looked like my kinda level, but then I realised it provides unusable Bombers (grr!) and, although there are clearly paths that don't require lots of Builders, there are still too few Builders (by my standards) for a level of that size, so I haven't got a solution yet. It's an awesome-looking level with an intriguing concept though, so I'll come back and have another look when I have a bit more time

Then you'll likely face a similar struggle with the level whose style Strato was trying to imitate with it, which is Nepster's "Final Frustration," the final level in NepsterLems Both with the exact same skillset of 20-of-everything in the classic 8. Nepster's level is much harder IMO, while Strato's level is more stressful rather than hard due to how there are several entrances that are in danger at the very start, but once you succeed in containing them all at the start in the first 30 seconds or so in the most efficient manner, then you can take it slow and easy for the rest of the level

Keep at it, though. I know you'll get it solved eventually!
