really nice  thank you.

It's really convenient to have the level.ini file. Great.  :)

I could look into noting down which levels are applicable and which are not.

I think positive because like you said there's the "Lol tru dat bitch" spearkers as well as the grammar nazis and you can meet both and all kinds of people on the internet. In general it exposes you to a lot more knowledge easily or maybe quickly is a better word.
I like learning about how other people speak.

Somewhere in this video I think they talk about this sort of thing. (If not, one of the lectures by this professor he talks about it somewhere, but briefly. Even if you can't find it these lectures are really interesting. (To me anyway...)

I said that the Internet overall probably has a negative effect on people's use of the English language.  Prior to the Internet, if you wanted to read the news, you had to get a newspaper or magazine.  Similarly, if you wanted to research something, you needed a book or an encyclopedia.  All of these older media are copy-edited before they are published, which removes most grammatical mistakes.

With the Internet, anyone can post anything online for everyone to read, and much less of what is posted online is properly copy-edited.  The result is that a greater percentage of the material that we read is informal and is therefore littered with grammatical errors, colloquialisms, and shorthand.  For a person like me who does a lot of formal writing and knows how to use proper grammar when necessary this is okay, but there are many people out there whose knowledge of grammar is only as good as the material that they read.

You have some good points. However, I disagree because of a few things;
First of all when Wikipedia first came out all the teachers (I guess a lot still do) said “this is terrible… an encyclopedia that anyone can edit, it goes without saying that it’s useless. Any moron can put a total lie up and it’ll be recognized as truth.

But theoretically if the admins of a site like Wiki are large in number and variety and diligent this type of encyclopedia could be much, much more accurate and effective than a book. First of all a book is written by a small group of people who claim to be knowledgeable in some area of expertise. But they could be wrong. And once the book is printed, that’s it. The internet can be edited over and over again, as it needs to be and should. And you have experts from basically around the whole world to verify knowledge much better imo.

But back on the subject of grammar, I never liked strict grammar in the first place. For one thing anybody can say something that isn’t a sentence like this:
“Where’s my phone?”
“On the table.” <<that’s not a complete sentence but you understood what I said just fine.

I’m not so sure about other languages but English has a crap load of problems.

They’re
There
Their

Do I really need to explain? Who invented this crap? Who said ‘yeah those three words are fine, they’re not confusing at all let’s stick with them. Foreign speakers won’t have any trouble learned our language. Or how about silent “e” or the I before E except that rule doesn’t always hold either? “comb”, “déjà-vu” < that’s not even really English!!.
I should say that the main reason I don't  feel obliged to use correct grammar is because of all these ridiculous twisted rules. Not much in English is very rational. When learning the language, you can't "sound-it-out" like they said in Elementary. You can't  expect anything.

Japan has two characters that change under circumstances. German has something too I forget what it is, but from what I’ve seen English is one of the worst. Why did it become the most spoken language ever? (rhetorical question) :XD:

Japanese has a lot of neat things, one is; KA at the end of a sentence makes it a question. think how useful that is. You can just add ka at the end of any sentence and make it a question. Can’t do that in English.
[end of rant]

I forgot to mention in the results but 7 people participated (in round 9)

I picked Capybara in spite specifically because of geoo subjecting me to “capybara porn” in the IRC. ;P Yes, I know I clicked on the Link but I wasn’t sure it was actual… ya know. It could’ve been something else. Some funny cartoon or something.  :XD:

I was initially going to answer f#ckamabob but remembered I made that word up. There are definitely more creative swear words out there I would’ve like to see. I keep forgetting the goal of this game is guess popular answers though.

I'm interested. However, you should note that some levels will not be convertible. As (I'll mention ISteve's because I've played some of his) some levels rely on either glitches or mechanics specific to Lemmix. Either we'll have to change some aspect of the level or leave it behind.

:) Nice. At least we can talk about Gronkling's and Piewu's levelsets here.

Plus, I think I'm going to make my new pack compatible with Lemmini, I'll try to make ini files too. (just for something different)

This is where I can ask about how to add custom graphics and music to Lemini.  :)
Seriously, how do you do that? I'm lost. :-\

:o …I didn’t think about this question at all. What is there to think about, it’s rock paper scissors?

Steve must have read my mind because in the last quiz, for the planet question I was going to answer “Pluto… AND DON’T TELL ME IT’S NOT A PLANET DAMMIT!”

also, I agree it should not have been considered a planet in the first place, as part of the Kuiper belt… but once you declare something; Stand by your word dammit!!!! No matter how wrong it is!! That’s the George Bush logic.

^^It's 94/100 actually. I edited that already. I explain it here:

Quote
Instead of having the last lemming dig through the steps, make him build over the gravity pad. He’ll drown but this will let the weasels flip the gate in the pool. The timing is tricky though, you have to make sure the worker (who is near the end of the line of lemmings) gets to the gate to empty the pool before the weasels get there. Usually the first weasel drowns but the second can make it.

Also: 8-8 Take her up to warp speed Captain is 23/25.

Quote
It’s pretty simple; just use extra skills to stall lemmings behind the workers. Two lemmings must sacrifice to close the doors.

-Going the back route way would kill more lemmings as it takes more than 2 or 3 builders to get to the balloon under the steel.

8-7 Watch Out Evil About! 47/50

*see picture.

8-9 Bridges 49/50*
mine through acid glitch.

Quote
This one was neat.
-turn the RR on the green lemmings up to 90ish
-make 2nd green lemming blocker and the third that turns around builder, to save the normal lemmings. Only 1 normal lemming should fall and die.
-Meanwhile have the first green lemming mine through the acid to get to the switch
-A normal lemming should walk out in front of the builder before he finishes. Make this lemming a blocker near the lava.
-set RR to 99. After the green lemming gets to the switch, make a normal lemming a bomber at the base of the steps. His crater will be created near the blocker on the left and should free him.
--------
I tried to save more by bashing out the green blocker but it seems impossible. One step too high; you can free him but the green lemmings on the other side can’t get back up. Too low and you can’t free the blocker and the basher will stop and turn around.

I found that a lot of the levels from the single lemming challenge don’t work here and ones that didn’t; do work here. Not all the time though.
This challenge is also ‘challenging’ because it’s easy to forget and assign more than 1 skill to a lemming.

I forgot to mention something very important:

There's a weird glitch in the editor: If you re-size the window panels in the bottom (The place where you can put the list window, properties window etc. If you re-size them, hot-keys (like pressing delete on the keypad to delete something) stop working. I haven't heard that anyone else experienced this though.

2485
EDIT: 7-1 – 94/100 confirmed*
7-4 – 24/25 (easy)  ---- I tried briefly for 100% but I doubt it's possible. There's not enough builders to build up to the ceiling (I think).

*(this method probably doesn’t save the most but it’s more fun than building straight up).
Quote
-set RR to 1
-build over first gap. 1 lem will die.
-the first builder has to die, so make the second one a blocker on the middle platform upside down
-set RR to 99. Wait until ~95 lemmings are out then set it around 20 to isolate the last few.
-make the last lemming out dig the steps away on the first gap; this takes care of the weasels.
-Make the second to last lemming bash when upside down on the steps going toward the balloon so that the last lemming will turn around. The basher will come out on the other side and be fine.
-let the very first lemming (who is near the balloon) fall off the wooden panels but block all the rest of the lemmings there near the balloon.
-that very first lemming should walk to a point past the gravity pad below then dig.
-the upside down worker (one that just turned around up top) builds over the pit. He’ll go on to flip the gate to drain the pool.
-the lemming digging will come out. You need to time it so he doesn’t come out too soon or he’ll drown. He’ll fall in the empty pool and flip that gate to free the way to the balloon.

the picture below shows the idea, however that take wasn't successful because I made some mistakes (if you notice the numbers)

Holding Ctrl+mousclick selects everything under the cursor, this is useful but it is currently impossible to select a piece of terrain that is almost or totally buried under other terrain. [Without moving all the terrain around]

Yeah I have to think about that. In the current Lemmix Editor you can select pieces with the list of terrains and objects.
Another idea a while ago was to be able to go 'deeper' with Ctrl + Mouseclick.
I don't know the psp editor. It moves all pieces which overlap the mouseposition?

This doesn't work for me. Selecting things in the list window has no effect and can't seem to really do anything. If I select something in the level it gets highlighted in the list but I can't do anything with the list.

also I don't know where to get/what files I need to make INI files for Lemmini, but this probably isn't a good place to ask about that.

I updated the first post.

blockers: do you mean they totally stop? (not turn around) I don’t quite understand those two.
They just stop the mining process, so the lemming will keep on going.
still be able to interact with it for a while.

I think I understand what you mean now: you assign the miner or digger himself blocker, and he just stops mining and continues walking? [Much like the glitch in revolution which you stop a builder in the same way?]
