I haven't played any in a long time now, but another old favorite of mine was Commander Keen; especially 4 - 6.

My other game is Lode Runner. And like Lemmings there's a windows level player for that too called Lode Runner MMR.

It's a different type of puzzle game where you avoid evil monks to find all the gold, which opens the door to the next level.

There are source ports aplenty, no need for DOSBox. Some emulate vanilla very nicely (but get rid of limits that can crash the game etc.) while others update the game with modern features. (scripts, console, hardware rendering etc.)

The OG Tomb Raider series is a favourite of mine on PC; I tend to play them on GOG Galaxy rather than DOS though.

Dungeon Keeper but using fan made KeeperFX mod. Has a new Editor called Unearth to make your own dungeons.
