NeoLemmix Levels / Re: [NeoLemmix] [SuperLemmini] Zemmings Vol 1

Yay, that's more like it! Wafflem, your solution's a bit different from IchoTolot's, but I like both solutions. It doesn't look like it's possible to skip half the level anymore  Thank you for replaying the patched version.

I'll get to work on updating the Glacier tileset topic.

I'll have to think about what I want to do for volume 2. I was thinking about making another tileset and make each volume feature a new tileset. Not sure yet.

Thanks for your feedback everyone!

Just posted version 2.0. Download link in main post. The main differences are:

  • Level 8 has been change to fix a bad backroute.
  • Level 3 has a more fair time limit.
  • The exit's collision has been adjusted.

Thanks IchoTolot, glad you like it! Yeah, the exit is a little off. I play tested on an old version. I'll correct that for the new version. Thanks for the tip on the trigger areas. Didn't know that.

Hey! Here's an eight level pack featuring levels I made with my Glacier tile set. The first two levels are the demo levels that came with the Glacier tile set download, but the other six are all new. The demo levels fall into the 'Fun' category while the others fall somewhere into 'Tricky' or 'Taxing'. There's a download link for both Super Lemmini and Neo Lemmix. Feedback is very much appreciated

Super Lemmini
Neo Lemmix (V 2018-01-21 Full):

EDIT: Added a new download link. Same everything, but I've updated it for the new NeoLemmix file format. It's still kinda new to me, so if you notice something broken, let me know. The SuperLemmini link is still the same. Thanks!

I just added the NeoLemmix version in the original post. I think I'll worry about the background color when the experimental features come to the full release. For now, it can just be black. Also, I mistakenly labeled terrain number 49 as steel, which is wrong. It's fixed now in v1.1.

I just released the full pack if you want to mess around with it. I updated the original post with the download link.

Proxima, I just changed the background color again. Now it's very dark blue instead of straight up black. Now I think it complements the terrain while not being too bright. Let me know what you think.

Thanks LJLPM  I used Photoshop for most of this project, although I usually use Graphics Gale for 2D stuff. Maybe I'll check out ProMotion, I don't think I've ever heard of that one.

Right now I just have the Super Lemmini download, but I'll probably release a NeoLemmix version tomorrow. I don't have time to do it today.

Changed the coloring a bit. Black background, lighter terrain. Also added wisp and blue fire traps.

Ah, good point Nepster.

The black pixels around the terrain are solid. I'll play with the colors a bit to see if I can make it better.

Thanks for the feedback everyone! Glad you like the work-in-progress.

Thanks for the feedback on my level. I just posted a V3 that will hopefully help with the background issues. The background is now much darker, and the terrain is a little lighter. I previewed it on a few other monitors for testing, and it looks alright. My monitor's kinda off, so it sometimes makes art-making difficult :XD:

Here's my third reversion. The level is the same, but the style has been tweaked. The background's darker and the terrain is lighter in select places.

Phew, I just solved Harkonnen Force. That was really hard, but it made me feel smart after solving it
I also beat Arty's levels which were both fun. I especially liked the Banjo-Kazooie themed one. I beat Wishing well, but my solution was very similar to Arty's latest back-route solution. Still a cool level. I really like the moss. Attached is the Harkonnen Force replay. I won't attach the rest of the replays because they're all very similar to ones already posted.

I just uploaded version 2. The download link in the original post has been changed to link to the new version. All the levels are the same aside from the last two Jill levels. For those levels, I made the backgrounds darker. For the Heck level, I modified it so you need less builders to get to the end and added a lava pit to block a backroute.

The Menacing and Beast styles are fun to build with  I'm glad you liked it.

Thanks for the heads up on the contest! I just submitted my entry. I rushed it out pretty quickly though lol. We'll see how it goes.
