NeoLemmix Styles / Re: Underwater tileset V1.0

Hmmm... I just tested a level in the editor, and it worked for me. No error that I can see. I'm running version V10.12.12-B. Could it be a version issue? What is everyone else using?

Set looks awesome by the way! :8():

Thanks for playing Wafflem! Glad you liked Melon Dungeon, that's probably my favorite of this pack.

Your solution for level 2 is close enough to intended. I was really generous with the skills. That is the most vertical thought I've ever seen  It's a really simple level, which probably should have been swapped with level 1.

You're right about Crumble Cake though. I'll jump on that.

This pack really is a lot harder. I'm trying some easier levels for Vol. 3., kinda in the style of "You Live and Lem" with large levels but lots of skills, allowing many solutions. This pack is hard though. :XD:

I'd be happy to help test. I have pretty good luck with stumbling onto backroutes.

Zemmings Vol. 2

This pack features eight new levels using the sKiwi graphics.
I also included my contest 11 entry as a bonus at the end since it sorta shares a theme.
If you have any issues, let me know. I'll try to fix it asap. Enjoy!

Made for NeoLemmix V 2018-01-21 Full and newer.

Contests / Re: Level of the Year 2016: Playing Phase
« on: January 07, 2017, 02:01:50 AM »
Hello! Arty was playing my level during his livestream, and I noticed Bird Knight has an error. The collision for the door isn't working, so the level's impossible in the current NXP. I replayed the level with an old copy of NeoLemmix, and it worked fine. Something must have changed collision wise in NeoLemmix since that contest and this contest. Here's an update if it's not too late to amend (All I did was move the door down one pixel):

General Discussion / Re: Humble GameDev Bundle

Has anyone called dibs on the Voxatron code? I'd like that one if it's up for grabs.

I bought the same bundle, but only got the lower two tiers, so I missed out on Voxatron. I've been using Pyxel Edit all morning and it's really nice  It's got some interesting features.

Yay! Thanks for posting. I haven't completed all the levels yet, but I'm really enjoying these packs so far. The music's a lot of fun too

Closed / Re: [PLAYER][DISCUSSION] Extra buttons on skill panel area
« on: January 05, 2017, 02:54:52 AM »
I like IchoTolot's idea of a toggle button. Attached is an idea I had on how it could look.

Image 1 shows the minimap (which I feel should show by default) and a new button to the right with a green plus (just a placeholder icon).
Image 2 shows the extra buttons which show after clicking the button.

In my example, the way the new buttons are split and arranged should be revised; I just wanted to throw something together quickly.

Yes, level 4 need much love. So does Crumble Cake.

Release 5!

Changes:

  • Level 4 has a subtle change that hopefully fixes a back route.
  • Level 7 has lots of changes, mostly decorational.
  • Separated the music from the NXP since it makes the file so big.

Hello! I'm working on another pack, this time using my Kiwi tileset. I aim to have about 16 levels in the final version, with four levels per a difficulty. Right now, I just have four finished levels, but I could use some help with the level testing. If you have some time to spare, I'd love the forums' help. Attached is the NXP of my four finished levels ready to play. While testing, I'm looking for feedback specifically on:
  • Backroutes which ruin the level.
  • Fairness.
  • Fun.
  • Where the levels place difficulty-wise.

Also note there's no music, so you'll just get the default music when you play. That will change, but I'm not quite there yet.
Also, I built this in NeoLemmix V10.011.011-B (should work in newer versions, might need to update if you have an older version).

Woo! Played "Great Scott! V3" and "The Doubly-Hard-For-Flopsy Level V4". Fairly confidant my solutions are not backroutes, these solutions feel pretty intentional. Hopefully that's the case. Both are really fun levels

Also, I played Muddy Stairs by Dullstar!
