Now that 12.13 stable is out, are there going to new levels covering the New Objects?

Hi Dexter, Awesome job with the updated styles now with new objects. Definitely worth posting them to the styles update topic.

I've made some portals (blue and gold) as well as 2 versions of skill adders/removers (green for adders, red for removers).


Also a few months ago I made locked versions of the awesome, beast, beastii, menacing, genesis' dirt_md and exit_02.

I also now have the old formats jamie_techno exit added. (used the old gs_tool to get it)

And I added an alternate orig_crystal exit (also made a locked version) that was used in Superlemmini.

All these objects are in a new styles folder called eric_special posted here.


here are Gigalems new object levels using these new portals/skill adders/removers. also Willlem's (De)Neutralizers were used.

In Willem's Willlem_special style he has a portal_in and portal_out (but the .nxmo in 12.12.5 has it as teleporter, but can be changed to portal in 12.13.0-RC)

also Willlem made a (De)neutralizer_revised in this post

There are no ranks, the levels are just in alphabetical order.

When using Raymanni's updated tilesets (circus, cyberspace, eldorado, food, sewer and snow) there are levels in:

Casual Lemmings, Lemmings World Tour, Lemmings Uncharted, Nessy's LDC #21 rule 3 level (Abandoned Memory), Armani's LDC #23 rule 3 level (The Age of Influence), Armani's LDC #25 rule 3 level (Underwater Hijackers), Armani's LDC #27 rule 3 level (Clown Fiesta), Armani's LDC #29 level rule 3 level (Color Coded), Cranes LDC #30 Rule 1 level (High Striker), Neolemmix Introduction pack Advanced Training level 13 (Jump the Saugage). that use these and affect them
 

Note: for Armani's LDC #29 rule 3 level (Color Coded) Jewel_04 should be changed to jewel_big_01 since jewel_04 is not the same in the updated
el_dorado style. Jewel_big_01 is similiar to the old Jewel_04 terrain piece.

my Rule 3 level uses dullstars l2_classic style uploaded here (which lowers the exit by a pixel which doesn't happen in the regular l2_classic)

This is why it appears 1 pixel too high in Kaywhyn's and Icho's video replay of my rule 3 level)

I noticed in the video for my Rule 1 level (Mosaic lemmings), that Strato's swedish lems were not used. (just shows the default ones)

Strato uploaded his complete sprite collection back on march 10, 2020.

Both solutions are good. bronze one is exactly to mine. The other one is different than mine but is still good.

Icho's solutions are intended for my rule 1 and 3 levels.

Updated my Rule 2 level

added a Bronze Talisman
added a button and locked exit with a blocker on it (for the Bronze Talisman)

adjusted terrain since it was possible not to use any bombers previously

I also like the proposal as in Superlemmini(too) the builder will complete the bridge even though his head hits terrain.

In NL and SLX the builder hits his head and turns around before completing the bridge

example in the Genesis sunsoft 24 level "out, away from the tune" an extra basher is needed to solve the level.

In Superlemmini(Too) the builder will complete the bridge and won't turn around early, so no extra basher is needed

So in NL/SLX there is a builder check (aka belly check), but in Superlemmini(Too) there is no belly check. I think I remember also discussing this with Simon about Genesis' Lemmings Ark.

also your 2nd Gold Talisman solution (Rule 2) is fine (way less fiddy)

Here is my Gold Talisman solution for comparison.  For anyone else don't download and watch if you don't want to be spoiled.

also included the Silver Talisman solution although if you solve the Gold one it automatically get's the silver too.
