Just a quick update! We are nearly half way done with this level pack! I'm expecting a 2026 release for sure. Taking our time with this pack ensures the best quality levels and amazing, new solutions to figure out!

We have a few testers already willing to help. If anyone else, like you, would like to do some early development and/or final revision testing, let me know via direct message. Have a nice upcoming Thanksgiving holiday!

Howdy folks! I have an update for you regarding this particular level pack. Development is now back in full swing! It's probably going to take the rest of this year and some of next year to finish it. This is a "go at our own pace" project, especially with a lot going on in our lives right now.

Some levels from the now canceled Lemmings Legacy have been brought over to this level pack to bring you more fun and excitement. saba neko, co-collaborator, has decided to no longer do level making. So I wanted to announce that as well, since she doesn't plan on working on this level pack with us. We wish her well!

I was thinking about increasing the level count, but there are more discussions that must take place first. I am also hoping for us to have a third level developer on board! He is deciding whether or not he will join us, but nothing is confirmed yet. That's all I can say as of now.

Good day, folks! It was discussed this morning, via Discord, that we are either going to postpone this level pack or cancel it altogether. There are some things that we would like to think about and consider before we do anything with the level pack.

I understand that it's normal for these things to happen all of the time. We do apologize for any delays or cancelations that happen or may happen in the future. Meanwhile, there are so many level packs out there to explore. Don't let this ruin your Lemmings excitement. Play on!

UPDATE: It's apparent to me at this point that our level pack will be ready for release much sooner that I had thought - now having some generous help with the testing phase.

So, that being mentioned, we are going to be releasing our level pack (saba and I) next week, Monday, October 20th! We are looking forward to it!

Things are going very well with the testing process. I've completed the entire first rank and now moving onto the next. There are only two ranks, Commence and Involved. The second rank, Involved, will be a huge jump in difficulty.

I expect the game to be released on October 31st, a Halloween treat for everyone!

Unfortunately, our kitty "Cookie" has fallen ill. She hasn't been eating, doing much of anything, and is lethargic all of the time now. Being 16 years old, I should have expected this to happen. So, I'll be taking a sort of "leave of absence" for a while. Until when, I have no idea. I'll be announcing this on Discord at some point. Also, I won't be working on level packs until I know what's going on with Cookie. I'll eventually message collab developers regarding this as well. Thank you in advance for understanding.

Hello again, community friends! I am very honored to announce a new level pack in development by saba and me as well. It's called Lemmings Legacy, meaning that it's a reflection and celebration of several wonderful tilesets by different creators. And a celebration of the Lemmings games as well as the work done by creative developers for the tilesets that we all use every day. We'll pushing the use of these tilesets in this level pack to the maximum! The level pack uses a combination of tiles and other cool things to come up with one jam-packed lemming adventure for many to enjoy! The amount of levels in our new pack is yet to be determined, however, there are a lot of levels made for it already. Here are some 'early development' screenshots! Note: Level names and skill sets, as well as some other great things will be revealed when the pack is released.









There is no set deadline, we go at our own pace. Creativity is booming! You'll surely enjoy the levels and solution(s) that are intended. The possibilities are limitless. We hope that you'll keep an eye on our progress here and on Discord when we can possibly show you something. Most new things are a secret until we release the level pack. Excellent job to all level authors for their amazing work! I am so very happy to have won along side Dodochacalo, it was a really great time. Even though I kept telling everyone that I wouldn't win anyway, but it's all for good fun. I'd like to thank everyone for the support and really believing in me. UPDATE! I am very happy to announce that this WIP/level pack has been split up into two different level packs! That's right, two of them are now in the works. Meanwhile, this current expansion pack is on a slight pause until some things get figured out. And then I'll know what's going on with it when the time comes.

So, basically what has been done; the new, unnamed level pack is currently in active development. It doesn't mean that this one is going to be inactive for long. In fact, there haven't been any final decisions made about it yet as well as the future of the staff that will be involved. A brand new title screen layout and other graphics for the new level pack will be an exciting feature as well!

Having split up the level packs, this brings the level count back down to 15 out of 60 planned. saba, formerly named Velixi will be working with me intensely now as an equal co-developer for the new level pack, which allows for many more tileset choices and some interesting, different things that I am confident will be enjoyed by many.

I'll update the community with further news about this WIP project as it happens. Thank you kindly for your patience! Note, there will be a brand new topic made for the second level pack when we come up with a name for it.

So far we have 21 levels completed and two more are in development. Everything's moving right along! I will be looking forward to seeing and playing what you come up with. We hope to see you on Discord again as soon as you can be there. No rush at all and especially with the level pack. We're still going at our own pace, but sometimes it seems like it's a lot of fun to make new levels, etc. So we make them quickly, often.

Greetings, all! I would like to announce with excitement that Velixi is now working with us to make some levels for the pack. Her talent is greatly admired! Welcome aboard, Velixi! We aren't rushing the level pack as we work hard to make changes to basically everything to fully customize the level pack in NeoLemmix to the maximum. (Skill panel graphics, menu screens, etc.)

Meanwhile, I haven't heard from Armani lately, and I do hope he's doing well. The current status of the level pack is at 16/60 levels, as shown on the topic subject. Things are pushing forward. The progress counter will always be updated when I can get a chance to do that. Take care, all of you!

That's actually a really awesome level, Velixi! I only got so far in it, but I'll keep trying, even if it takes me a long while. I like the combination of tilesets used in this one. Great job!
