Excellent! I shall not worry then, I will keep the level titles as they are in my pack, usually with only the first letter capitalized. I appreciate this great answer to my question, thanks Proxima!

Some level title ideas (I'll add to this list when I think of more):

I really like those! Neato! Question, I know, I always have one :) But is it important at all to have the titles with capital letters in them or is it fine without all words being in capitals? It probably doesn't matter, but I want to be professional with mine too. Here are a few that I came up with for the taking or I may use some in the future:

The Return of the Lemming Dead (in reference to yours)
Lonic the Lemhog
Another Serving Of Doors, Please?
Lemmsylvania
A Few Seconds Matter Most
How About More Floaters Here!
Don't Push The Button Yet
Lemmhog Day
A Few Good Lemmings
The Lemtanic Disaster

This is great! When I bought Lemmings for my Sega Genesis system long ago, I thought it would look like this and it turned out very different. I still liked it though. Excellent job!

@Armani
Sounds perfect! Thank you!
Great job with getting things customized on the title screen, I see now how it's done and will be doing the same. ;) Now this is just by looking at your folder, I have yet to get the pack to work.
You may PM me with further instructions, thanks so much!

Well said! I'm watching more of your replays today and you do such an amazing job with Lemmings. I am wondering how you knew that level 1 solution, I didn't even know it. hah

The pack has been updated with a custom logo on the title screen! It really makes a difference! Thanks for the help with this, kaywhyn! I've also changed the main download link above to reflect the change. Thanks for playing, always! Also, Level 1 on Rugged is not finished yet.

Congratulation on releasing your first level pack 8-)
I attached my solutions below.
Overall, the levels are on the easier side but it's still high-quality excellent first pack.

Thank you kindly! I appreciate the replays and will be reviewing them to see how you've done. Thanks for that too.

I often tried to save as many lemmings as possible.

Speaking of replays, Pieuw, how did you know that solution to level 1 in Smooth? I didn't even know it myself. ha You've saved all lemmings in that level, which I didn't think was possible. Great job there! :D

These are all some wonderful suggestions and amazing advice! I truly thank you all, I really want my next rank to have a some more difficulty in the levels compared to the other levels in the pack. ;)

The many, many ways there are to achieve this, it's intriguing and again, thank you all, greatly! I'm glad that I have a white board in my home office.

Level Design / What are some tips for making difficult levels?
« on: April 05, 2024, 04:56:06 PM »
I am going to be pushing the difficulty meter, so to speak, in my next rank. I'd like to make it (as well as some of my existing levels) have more of a sense of difficulty.

Level design is no big deal for me at all, but trying to come up with a good, tough strategy or two for a level is where I am struggling. Any suggestions and ideas for level difficulty would be greatly appreciated! :lemming: ;)

Congrats on releasing your first pack!

Since it's a relatively short and easy one I took time to play it all. Not sure if it's useful but you'll find my replays attached. Most levels seemed open-ended and I often tried to save as many lemmings as possible.
It's a fine pack even if it gets a bit repetitive in the end because the difficulty never really takes off. Otherwise, it was fun to play! Keep it up :D

Thank you kindly for playing! The replays will be useful, thanks again, Pieuw. I believe the difficulty will be taking off in the third rank, I started it already so hopefully you'll get a chance to check that out as well when I finish it.

I really do appreciate your feedback and replays. I'll definitely keep the pack going and will be working on making some other existing levels harder. :D
