NeoLemmix Levels / Re: Lemmings Redux
« on: May 30, 2020, 08:27:46 PM »
it wouldn't be too hard because all my music files are cleary labed ie orig_01cancan_dos, tune3_amiga, specialone_genesis. Not just labled orig01 or tune03. so if they were in the music folder one could just look for the music file with the _ver. But it would take time, since redux has many levels. In Superlemmini much easier and quicker. for the pack you want (ie SNES) just in the levelpack.ini just add the music_id at end of each level and just list the music in that pack ie Music_## = musicname.mod(.ogg)

This is why I wish the neolemmix editor could some how read a music.ini file and you could put the levels and the musictitle in it.

NeoLemmix Levels / Re: Lemmings Redux
« on: May 30, 2020, 07:03:48 PM »
Yes mine has all the music from each level as they are supposed to be, orig, ohno, holiday, genesis, psp, nes and I think even 1 zx spectrum level. I have a folder on my hard drive that has all the music for any lemmings game-dos, amiga, many others(got from various sources online).
if other people want this, I can upload the music. I even have music for 3d lemmings, revolution, all world of lemmings, adventures of lomax, the tribes (amiga, dos, SNES). All are in .ogg form because I use also for Superlemmini. But I won't upload unless others want since redux has a lot of music that would be played often like genesis. I don't mind that's why I changed mine, but others may. Thx Eric.

NeoLemmix Levels / Re: zx spectrum and nes neolemmix extra levels
« on: May 29, 2020, 04:57:29 PM »
sorry about that. I just grabbed the 1st 2. I corrected the nes pack so all of them are yours now. floppys had unlimited time on those 2 levels which nes doesn't have. yours play better and are more like the original nes versions. everybody please update the pack.
also I included the 2 new replays for those 2 levels.

NeoLemmix Levels / zx spectrum and nes neolemmix extra levels
« on: May 29, 2020, 04:56:07 AM »
here are the zx spectrum and nes extra levels in neolemmix. I downloaded Ron Stard's zx spectrum and nes lemmings and put them into packs playable in neolemmix. I even put zx spectrums only music track into their levels and nes' 8 tracks into theirs.

At least for the originals games(orig, ohno, holiday 93(xmas songs), holiday 93 and 94 (ohno songs), xmas 91, xmas 92 and even
the demo one for the amiga and dos ones. not sure about the order of genesis ones. but at least for the amiga and dos)

Thanks, the 2 book club ones I didnt have as the restored ones (through the graveyard and something weighing on your mind)
Now I know my old lemmix player and neolemmix player uses the restored ones-not that it's too noticable when playing the 2 levels, just now the width is now at 1584 for all my lemmix and neolemmix players). The original lemmings and the extra levels all work with the restored ones(also the demo version of orig). Haven't yet played the ohno or holiday ones, but will soon. Still testing all my original lemmings ones making sure they play the correct music). It's cumbersome to put music into neolemmix levels, have to do it level by level. I wish the neolemmix editor was able to read a text file with prearranged ones. Superlemmini  it's much quicker. I can just change the music one for whichever version of lemmings I'm using(orig, ohno, holiday, etc) or whether i'm using dos, amiga or SNES.

Here is the Amiga levelpack for Superlemmini (demo version) 5 single player levels, 2 2player levels. just extract to levels directory in Superlemmini

« on: May 17, 2020, 01:17:36 AM »
I've downloaded and installed all custom ones but only attemped a few except for redux which is a collection of various ports of lemmings which I completed. also each level in redux uses its correct music even the nes or psp levels. but I removed the talismans, since they were not in the originals levels. This took a while to do, I wish there was a way to get music faster into neolemmix levels, much quicker in superlemmini.

I always vote yes for options. And it you think hard enough about it nothing is impossible to program. oh wait isnt that a title of one of your levels "nothing is impossible"

NeoLemmix Levels / Re: neolemmix amiga demo
« on: May 17, 2020, 01:02:10 AM »
yes I guess it's because it was just a demo version and they  wanted to make it easier. if you also notice that there are 120 lemmings in the "watch out there's traps about" too.

Also I do these to make the lemmings collection complete -even if it's just a demo

You can see somebody playing the amiga demo version on youtube, but I played it from the lemmings anthology file I have.

also I have just the '93 version of holiday lemmings on neolemmix since it played the 3 xmas tunes where the same levels
in holiday '94 played the oh no tunes. so I like both in my collection. The only thing is I don't have the logo for the '93 holiday
version since neolemmix has only the '94 logo since they put both '93 and '94 together. my '93 one just shows the default lemmix logo. it would be cool to have someone upload the '93 logo. I don't know how to make logos.

NeoLemmix Levels / neolemmix amiga demo
« on: May 16, 2020, 04:47:58 AM »
Here is the neolemmix version of the demo of Amiga lemmings. It contained 5 single player levels and 2 2 player levels including Battle of Midway. I made this real quick from a demo version I had.

I just noticed that the neolemmix .lvls seem to work in Superlemmini. look at the levels come over to my place (taxing 22) and oh no more lemmings snow joke (wild 12). looks awesome in superlemmini

Here are the conversions from the uploaded zip from geoo. Not sure if they around here yet but here they are. 1 set is for the old
lemmix players and the other set is for neolemmix. I already have them working with my old players (1st set) and also with neolemmix 2nd set. they are for original lemmings, oh no more lemmings, holiday 93, 94 lemmings and 4 extra level files that were in the uploaded zip(Go for it!, lemming lament, it's not over till it's over and Don't make the wrong choice). In neolemmix the levels I noticed have a width of 1584 to about 1600. compared to the originals, most way smaller than that. in some levels
one can really see the difference (ie taxing 22-come over to my place, the level has much more green water to the left and right)
or oh no more lemmings wild level 12 snow joke with a lot more snow past the exit to the right.
NOTE: the .lvl for neolemmix won't work for old players and old player .lvl files are not used for neolemmix.

also the neolemmix levels need to be packed using the pack tool kit but this is quick compared to the converting.

Lemmini / Re: Java Exception when stepping into a trap
« on: May 05, 2020, 01:32:45 AM »
Please note there are 2 of each of the sega levels one, two, three, four and five. In the superlemmi.ini files you have to distinguish the levels. you have ie sega one twice. so when I play back the replay it picked the second one and crashed the java level. I just went into each .ini file and for the easier ones I put ie sega one(1) and for the other one I put sega one(2) that way now when I do a replay it picks the correct one.
