There's a lot I like with SLX, but I really miss the forward/back frame-step buttons. I need to configure the hot keys really; I'm used to hitting "6" to wait out the builder and space to pause.
I like having timed and untimed bombers, (and grenades and spears. But I haven't actually used either.)

I still prefer the black background. I like my screen black, especially at night.

I like checking the progress here and reading up on it. But I haven't had alot of play time lately.

SuperLemmix Bugs & Suggestions / [SUG] Visual SFX

I would love to see the graphic sound cues from lemmings 95. This would allow deaf people to know when the builder was laying his last 3 bricks. (and they're really cool to see)

These images are included in the 95 version. And the (super lemmini too) fork has these and even created a couple extras I believe.

SuperLemmix / [SuperLemmix] Custom Graphics Sharing Topic
« on: March 03, 2023, 04:34:39 PM »
I reworked these logos a while back. I personally prefer them for the original games.

I like SuperLemmix, but I do prefer the Black background. Not a fan of the Amiga blue.

Lemmings Main / Oh No More Lemmings OGG music...

Here's a full set of the music files for Acorn ONML in OGG format. These have been edited with Adobe Audition to be improved a bit.
The MOD files sound great, but some tracks lose parts of the song, like track 05, about 13 seconds in loses the drums for a few seconds. others lose Bass or drums...

Tracks 5, 12, and 18 have been edited in the muli-tracker to include additional instruments, or no dropped out instruments. Track 15 plays longer. Some have stereo separation.

These mostly sound exactly the same as the Acorn MOD originals, but are EQ-tweaked to have a better range of bass, highs, and stereo effects. And when too many instruments at the same time usually caused one instrument to drop, they are edited back in with this version.

Ive also included the Music track list file for NeoLemmix to easily try these out.
If you want the tracklist to be perfect, You should edit the level file for Wicked, level 2 (Introducing SuperLemming) and make that one level play track 26.

Also, If you are interested in a high quality midi converted version of the DOS ONML soundtrack, the link below will download my conversion using Apple's midi soundfont.

NeoLemmix Levels / Updated Logos for Lemmings games
« on: June 25, 2021, 04:09:14 PM »
I attached a zip file containing  every official Lemmings game logo for NeoLemmix. (and a couple more popular packs)

The dropped out colors have always bothered me. Especially on ONML. So I slightly edited all of them for myself to straighten up a few unconnected lines and fix the missing face parts and added some missing graphic files. I also added labels to each of the smaller special packs.

I posted them here for anyone else who is interested.

edit... Added world tour logo and a couple fixes... (Migration, Destination, World Tour) and more...

Level Design / Music Pack question
« on: June 23, 2021, 04:09:14 PM »
I have a huge folder of music for a level pack.

Is there an easier way to make the "music" file other than to place the name of each music file one at a time in the file?

I don't know if I can add a music folder to the level folder or something.

Lemmini / Oh No More Lemmings 26 song soundtrack

Here is a link to my high quality SNES\ACORN soundtrack containing 26 tracks instead of the 6 tracks DOS and Amiga have.

These are edited to loop perfectly with Super Lemmini or Lemmix. They are OGG format and converted from SNES music mods.
These are identical to the Acorn tracks, but make use of more than 3 channels at times, and have a slightly higher quality.
