100 crowded/blocked lemmings in a small area
« on: June 10, 2021, 04:57:54 AM »
Hi everyone,

How to make sure you will point basher/builder/miner in the right direction inside 100 crowded/blocked lemmings in a small area?

It's real hell to drop both in inventory and custom levels. I apologize if it doubles down on some rudimentary instructions or belongs in another section.

Thanks!!!

I assume you're in NeoLemmix.
  • Hold the left arrow key or right arrow key on the keyboard, and click into the crowd while you're still holding they key.
  • Or click the blue arrows in the panel at the bottom of the screen, then click into the crowd.
  • Or remap the directional select (arrow keys) in the options menu to two other keys that you like better, then use those.
In Lemmings 1, ONML, ..., there is no directional select. There is only the blinking cursor trick: To select a lemming facing right, hover the mouse cursor as far left over the pit as possible so that the cursor still opens, and so that it would not open anymore if you moved it a pixel further left. Now the cursor will only select lemmings that have just turned from left to right.

Welcome to the forums!

Welcome to the forums :lemcat:

Simon's pretty much covered it, but just in case you're playing on a different platform/engine, let us know which one and we'll hopefully have the answer for you.
