accusation: akhtbn if numbering the letters of the alphabet from 1-26, each letter corresponds to a number and the letter/numbers added up--the sum must be even.

This is not correct. A counterexample is INSANESTEVE, which is white even though its alphabetic values sum to 133.

In chat, möbius also guessed that the alphabetic values of the first and last letters must have an even total. This is not correct; a counterexample is SAYUYAGAMI, which is black even though 19 + 9 = 28.

Interesting one. Well, with the different natures of PRAMIOX and PROXIMA we know so far that it affects word order, but still have no idea of a guess, especially when all of my previous koans were shown to be all black.

Ok, after categorizing all the guesses into their respective equivalence classes (first and last letter) I've come to the following conclusion which holds for all the guesses that have been made up to now:

A koan has the buddha nature iff the difference of its first and last letters' numeric value modulo 4 equals zero.

In other (simpler) words, the first letter of the koan must be a multiple of 4 letters away from the last letter (within the alphabet), the rest of the letters within the koan are irrelevant.

If anybody's still up for it, I got one more which I once started on IRC a while ago but never finished. Also, how about some Eleusis for a change? :P

I don't think anyone else would've guessed that previous rule without listing it. So it actually wasn't about word ordering at all? Erinomaista työtä Ramon.
Have we played an Eleusis game before? I don't remember, and I don't know what the goal is in this version; Well, I know so far that we're allowed to select koans, so...

In fact this is still a round of Zendo, in Eleusis, players would try to add letters to an existing sequence of letters (which would either work or not) instead of guessing full koans.
