That's right. You're lagging everybody else and you need to... Look, you've lost your opportunity to review Level 8. Shame on you. ><img src=" title="Angry" class="smiley" />

Whoa, don't be so hard on him. He's just been too busy to do reviews lately. There's no shame in having a life outside of Lemmings :P

There's only one more level review to go from me, I'm afraid. I don't know how long this will take. :-\ According to the rules, if you want to review it you'll have to wait 48 hours.

I think it's time we finished up this pack and moved on. So...

lm_set03 - Level 10 - If only that tree wasn't there

Lemmings: 80
Save: 75 (93%)
RR: 1
Time: 4 minutes
Skills: 20 floaters, blockers, builders

Good: Simple design, and a remarkably good puzzle considering there's only one obstacle. It's quite easy to get into a mess if you don't plan your solution well.

Bad: There's a lot of unusable blockers, although this does make the skill set look nicer, I guess. Could do with some decoration, although nothing major (else it would detract from the tree as a centrepiece).

Now, if there are no objections, the next pack will be Epic Fernito 1.

haha, thanks :-[ English they teach in school here in my country sucks badly, almost all english I've learned comes from forums (I've been participating in english-speaking forums for about 5 years).

Now, if there are no objections, the next pack will be Epic Fernito 1.

I shall get right to it!...  after I check the levels in Lemmix's editor to make sure they don't crash my computer.

FORGOT TO MENTION! Attention please!  :P

Levels with 2 entrances (specially Greek Picnic and Bilateral Lemmings) must be played as Custom Lemmings levels (press F10 in Lemmix editor and select Custom Lemmings in the style tab). The rest of the levels run fine on DOS Original Lemmings mode.

Epic Fernito 1 - Level 1 - Greek Picnic

Lemmings: 80
Save: 78 (97%)
RR: 70
Time: 3 minutes
Skills: 1 Bomber, 3 Builders, 2 Miners, 2 Diggers

Good: The layout does a lot to misdirect the player, and helps to conceal the solution, which makes use of a couple nice digger tricks.

Bad: Possibly back routed. The solution I found didn't use the 3rd climber or the bomber, and I only lost 1 lemming (because of the high RR). Also, The two miners made it much easier than it could have been. With different skills, I'm sure more difficult puzzles could be created with this map.
Finally released my 6th level pack! Ten levels intended to push you quite a bit beyond the expectations of Mayhem/Havoc; check 'em out and let me know what you think!

@Yawg: attached a replay with the intended route (remember it must use Custom Lemmings mechanics). Could you please send me the replay of your backroute to see how to correct it? :D

Oh, I see  now; its basically the same solution. I wouldn't really call it a back route, but heres how I did it.

Yep, you're right! I could remove a climber and a bomber from the level. Guess I didn't thought the solution very well :P

You may be interested to know that 100% is possible on this level. ;) The key: the horizontal pillar terrain is one pixel lower at the end, which means there is just enough room for a builder to cross the gap from right to left without turning back. Replay attached.

@Yawg: Can you please add the level title and release rate (70) to your review? (EDIT: It's fixed now, thanks)

Now for level 2:

Epic Fernito 1 - Level 2 - Clonic Inferno

Lemmings: 80
Save: 78 (97%)
RR: 90
Time: 1 minute
Skills: 2 climbers, 1 bomber, 1 blocker, 6 builders

Good: Excellent decorative terrain, and subtle differences in appearance between the two sides of the level - which is reflected nicely in the solution. The flames help to reinforce the "hurry up" theme - get out before the place burns to the ground :P

Bad: Release rate and time limit constraints are tough to work with at first - however it's not so bad once you get the hang of it (challenge to all: complete the level without pausing). Also, you might want to check out the level errors (Tools -> Validate Level).

I know why what happened. I made the level in Lemedit and then edited it on Lemmix (copied/pasted to make the "clone" half). Seems like I forgot to align to the DOS grid in the process :-[

Maybe you didn't, but if you want to know how to do it then hold Ctrl and highlight all the pieces (You may need to zoom out the map) then find the button in the Selection box. Did you know that?

I don't recall ever having to invoke the 48-hour rule myself before... but hey, first time for everything :P

Epic Fernito 1 - Level 3 - Lemmings cemetery

Lemmings: 15
Save: 14 (93%)
RR: 5
Time: 3 minutes
Skills: 1 floater, 1 bomber, 3 builders, 3 miners, 2 diggers

Good: Nice theme. Tough decision to make on how to use the sacrifice to your advantage, and a clever method of isolating a lemming to build across the gaps.

Bad: The terrain looks very nice... until you move towards the exit on the left. This part of the level is too bland and breaks with the theme.
