Lemmings Main / Re: Lemmings Collection

Okay, thanks for your thoughts on the Gameboy version.
I don't have a Gameboy, but rather a GBA SP Tribal Edition. Gameboy, GBC and GBA games can be played on it, and it has great feel, colours, and lighting. Probably one of the best handhelds out there. But anyway: judging from your thoughts, I think I'd rather shift my attention and money to some other interesting games before going for this one. But if you ever see a cheap copy that ships to Europe, I'd be pleased to here. I wonder if the GBC version is any better.

Wow, nice!
How's the Gameboy Lemmings? I've been considering getting it for a really long time, but I'm not sure if it's worth it, as I'm more a gamer than a collector. I do like to collect things, but if I buy something, I want to have fun with it, so if the Gameboy Lemmings is considered a bad port, I won't get it.

Sorry for not replying, I've been on a little break from Lemmings. Thanks for your replies, though, they're certainly useful!

Awesome! I think this will be even more user-friendly than I had expected.

The first 7 levels of Fun? :P
Nope. The original levels let you learn everything yourselves. In fact, they don't even teach you everything, they leave many things to figure out for yourselves. However, in this tutorial, everything gets presented to you, and the skill gets fully explained before the level even starts. For me, that would be a bit too much, I preferred the way the original did it.
But I do support this pack, don't get me wrong, I think it's good for less experienced gamers. But if they'd need this, they'd probably need something like this for the original mechanics even more.

Wow, I did surprisingly well! :P
NaOH and Akseli, did you Google the grey hair as well? I had no idea, and thought nobody would choose the same.

Okay, I have played through the first 16 levels so far, and like it. I see you kept most of the levels from the old tutorial and altered them a bit to suit this set-up.
But this thing made me wonder: does such a tutorial exist for the standard Lemmings?

Hey, I forgot who hosted the previous round, but could that person tell me how you calculated the scores for the darts game? I've been trying to find a way, but I don't think I understand either the arithmetic average or the distance between two coordinates.
Help would be hugely appreciated!

Yeah, that's true. However - aren't the majority of screens widescreen these days? I was actually quite surprised to hear that 607 was using a non-widescreen.
Yes, they are. But I like this resolution, and if you don't mind, I won't be changing it any time soon (plus I don't really have money to spare on monitors at the moment). :)

Hm, I do use linux, but I still don't really see much need for this. I think most people with Linux will either have Windows as well or will have enough knowledge of the system to emulate it (emulate is probably the wrong word, looking at what WINE stands for, but I don't know how I should call it).

Cap. I don't get sunburn all too often, because I don't spend too much time outside still. When I'm outside I'm moving, and also spend quite some time in the shadow.
I never have too much problems with the light, so I hardly ever wear sunglasses.
A cap, however, I always wear. When outside, that is. Not always in winter of course, but when outside, I think I wear a cap at least 90% of the time. If I don't and there's sun, I feel like my head overheats, and my thinking capabilities lower tremendously. I also tend to get angry much quicker when I don't wear a cap, for some reason.

Ah, okay, that's what you mean. Yeah, I always use that too.

Could anyone explain this "streching" to me? Or do you think it would spoil too much?

It's a bit late, but can I still get an entry in today?
