99 easy levels to play around.

Notes:
1. All levels 320x160.
2. Easy: little strategy and proper skills.
3. I have been playing lemmings for over thirty years.
4. Attached some pictures of random levels.

Hello @heart66 and welcome to the Forums! Nice to see a level pack from you, and I'll get to playing it at some point. However, right off the bat, there are some things I've noticed that have caught my eye and hence I do have some suggestions for you already, even having not looked at a single level yet.

For starters, you might want to think of better ways to present your level pack to the community. In particular, to catch people's interest better, you might want to tell us more about the level pack. What can players expect? Ok, you said easy levels. Anything else you can tell us about them and about your level pack? Take a look at other level pack topics in the NeoLemmix Levels board to see how authors present their level packs and the descriptions they've given ;)

Along with the above, you'll notice level pack authors tend to put some images of levels from their pack in the OP. This can especially help pique interest in your level pack, particularly if people see some really nice looking levels in the images you've posted.

Looking at the zip itself and opening the levels in Notepad and then later on in NeoLemmix itself, you have all levels titled 01-Easy, 02-Easy, etc. all the way to the final level, which is called 99-Easy. These aren't very catchy or interesting level titles. Surely you can think of better ones? ???

Don't worry, this is a friendly community, and I'm sure there will be others who will chime in with their own suggestions that I might have missed to help you with this. We're here to help you make the most of your level pack possible in how it's presented! ;)

Thanks.
I shall work on this. The first step is the hardest.

Much better now! Nice to see that you've taken some of my pointers!

No worries at all. There are many here who used to be in the same situation as you when they first started out with level pack making and needed some tips on how to present their pack better. Having a great presentation of your level pack is really to help you to get others to play your level pack :) Bear in mind though that sometimes it takes a while for the first set of replays to come in, if at all. People don't always play new level packs straight away. That's normal. It doesn't necessarily mean that no one's interested in the pack. This community is always happy with people releasing their level pack(s) for others to play. It can be for a variety of reasons, including there are times when the Forums doesn't have as high activity as others depending on the time of year, people are busy with their personal lives, etc.

Levels 7 and 8 have the same ID; so do 9 and 10; so do 5 and 11. I haven't checked through the rest of the pack to see whether there are more clashes.

Reason: Why should NL levels in the same pack have all-different IDs?

Welcome to the forums! This is a pretty nice level pack, although I do have some things to point out.

Level 68 has a missing object that the style manager couldn't download. I loaded the level in the editor and the problematic object in question was an exit. For the purpose of my playthrough, I replaced it with the default crystal exit.
Level 87 has a ton of missing terrain pieces that the style manager couldn't download that I wasn't able to replace, so I wasn't able to complete this one.

I was able to complete every other level, except for level 49 which seemed excessively difficult. The replay that you provided for this one doesn't work on my version of NeoLemmix, which leads me to believe that there may be some shenanigans with different terrain pieces.
Are all your styles up to date?

While overall this pack was quite easy, there are quite a few headscratchers that I was stuck on for a while!

My favourite levels are:
13, 31, 52, 69, 70, 76, 83, 84, 86, 90, 92, 94 and 97.

Also, level 35 has the funniest replay.

My replays are attached.

I personally didn't really mind the lack of titles. Design-wise, the levels have a minimalistic feel that I quite enjoyed, and I feel the lack of titles helped complement that. That's just my opinion, though, I'm not really sure what the consensus of the lemmings forum is on levels without titles.

My apologies regarding level 49. I hate it myself. It requires more skills. I shall attach a new level 49. Please copy it. Level 87 works fine with NL CE.
Thanks for playing the levels. I hope you enjoy the hard pack... Coming soon

New level 49

This point of view of yours is fine of course. I did think the level titles are for thematic reasons and hence are intentional. The only other pack I can think of that does something somewhat similar is All the Styles, where IIRC every level is simply titled the name of the style the level is made in. In fairness, the author did try to enroll the help of this community for better level titles, but when no one accepted their call for help, ultimately they just named every level of their pack with the graphic set name.

Admittedly, I'm a bit of a hypocrite since I myself am not so good with coming up with great level titles, though I personally wouldn't create an entire level pack where every level was called 01-Easy, 02-Easy, etc. Just my opinion here as well, and I know for certain I'm not the only one here with this viewpoint :P The user who played through and gave feedback on the All the Styles pack also thought the level titles could be but still found the pack to be good, for example.

Firstly, welcome to the forum, heart66, and thank you for the new pack - much appreciated!

I'm glad you posted this update to Level 49 because I have to say I suspected the previous version was impossible with the skills given (i.e. not enough constructive skills). This updated 49 is much more in keeping with the stated difficulty of the pack imo. As 92Dexter11 pointed out, the previous version of that level was way harder than anything else in the pack. Any chance of updating Level 68? I encountered the same issue as Dexter in that, as far as I can see, no exit_vortex object exists in the orig_crystal style. I fixed it locally by changing the style to psp_crystal, which does have exit_vortex, but using a standard exit from orig_crystal would work just as well. I'm up to level 87 currently (will post replays etc later) but I did not encounter any style issues with this level - maybe that's down to the recent Styles update, not sure.
