Attached is a comparison study on the 4 active softwares currently maintained on the forum. I do believe that we should concentrate on Lix and Superlimmini. NL and and SLX are almost perfect.

I'm not entirely sure that skill variety (a category that's very easy to inflate with crap - not that engines tend to do so, but still) is worthy of awarding 200+ points, when things like the amount of content available only award 10 each.
My projects
2D Lemmings: NeoLemmix (engine) | Lemmings Plus Series (level packs) | Doomsday Lemmings (level pack)
3D Lemmings: Loap (engine) | L3DEdit (level / graphics editor) | L3DUtils (replay / etc utility) | Lemmings Plus 3D (level pack)
Non-Lemmings: Commander Keen: Galaxy Reimagined (a Commander Keen fangame)

Let's do a demonstration:
Pick up any level from original Lemmings, play it with DOS Lemmings then try it with any version of NL 10.xx again with any version of NL12.xx and finally with any version of NL CE.

Now try this attached SLX with all if the above... You can not. İt involved two skilles not supported by NL. Balloons and spearer.

I am currently using SLX and happy with it. Especially because it has classical mode as well. I can play both NL and SLX levels in the time
We are all lemmings fan let's enjoy the game and have fun  let's GO.

A typo error in the PDF file, SLX has the most points not NL

For Lix, you write:
menus should be restructured ... many menus should be deleted, combined and/or simplified

What menus are the nastiest?

It's hard to get good feedback on the menuing. Of course, it's equally hard to make anything better, but I have to know what sucks in the first place. I wouldn't have guessed that the main issues are the menus. I would have guessed that the main issue is the lack of familiar Lemmings tilesets. I can't ship DMA's tilesets, but I can look into the menus.

Please shred the Lix menus to pieces! Which menu annoys you?
