Lemmings Main / [POLL] What is your favourite Oh No! More Lemmmings tileset?
« on: September 20, 2021, 10:11:59 PM »
Another tileset poll. Thanks for WillLem for the suggestion and also seeing all his polls inspired me to make my own polls in the first place :lemcat:

As always, please share you thoughts here if you want to. The more discussion the better!

Mine is probably Brick. Just like it, plus feels the most different.

Lemmings Main / [POLL] What is your favourite original tileset?
« on: September 20, 2021, 10:48:23 AM »
What is your favourite tileset from the original game? Mine has to be the crystal tileset, I like the calm blue and everything seems so relaxing. Also, the white brick colour works well.

I'm getting the bug in version NeoLemmix_V12.12.1

When using the "Find Hotkeys" feature, it doesn't work with certain keys. I found out it doesn't work with "Up Arrow", "Down Arrow" and "Enter" but it could not work with more.

This shows the feature working incorrectly with "Up Arrow", "Down Arrow". Then it working correctly with the "U" key. Finally it not working with the "Enter" key. (Sorry for it being a bit small).

Closed / [SUG][PLAYER] Records and icon for not pausing
« on: August 23, 2021, 05:26:11 PM »
I sugges you add a record in the records tab for not pausing and an icon on the name of the level in the level select list (like the completed icon) since making a talisman for not pausing is impossible and it is a well known challenge.

Here is an interpretation for how it could look

Challenges / [NeoLemmix] Hypothetical Perfect Save em Up #1
« on: April 19, 2021, 03:49:39 PM »
We play the 20 levels from the first Save em up with the same rules regarding the skillset (and same rules for everything else) and see if there is a skillset which would make it possible to get a perfect 1025/1025 :lemming:. and how we would solve the levels with that skillset, and if not what is the highest possible score

TLDR: We go back to the previous Save em ups with the extra knowledge and ability to change our skillsets at anytime and try to find out the highest/perfect hypothetical score

Forum Games / Higher or Lower
« on: April 18, 2021, 01:37:11 PM »
Inspired by Google Higher or Lower - http://www.higherlowergame.com/

How to play
1. Pick 2 terms and send them as a post (e.g. Sharks and Whales)
2. Another forum member must guess which one has more worldide monthly searches on google and write a reply with your guess. How to do this:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
3. If they are correct, the 1st term will be the winning one and the 2nd term will be there choice, do this in the same post as your guess
4. Repeat from Step 2 until someone guesses incorrectly
5. When this happens, we can start another round and someone gets to pick a new 2 terms

Rules
1. No cheating
2. Can't have 2 members in a row
3. Make sure you do it as a topic instead of a search term if possible, and the correct search peramaters
4. Posts for asking questions, and talking about how certain players are doing ect. are allowed just make sure to mark it so

Forum Games / The Button
« on: April 18, 2021, 01:03:06 PM »
Inspired by Reddit April Fools Day 2015 Joke, which was named the samething - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Button_(Reddit)

How to play
1. Post something which clearly states something along the lines of "you pushed the button"
2. Edit the post and add the time between when you pushed the button, and when the previous member pushed the button. Unless you where the first, then post the time between when it began/reset and your post. (Example: If a member said "I pushed the button" at 5:00PM and I sent one at 5:30PM I would edit it and add "30 minuets") you can copy and paste the timestamps and use https://www.timeanddate.com/date/duration.html to caculate this. EDIT: This link is better: https://www.timeanddate.com/date/durationresult.html?d1=&m1=&y1=&d2=&m2=&y2=&h1=&i1=&s1=&h2=&i2=&s2=&
3. Whoever has the most time between posts is in the lead
4. Can't post again after you've posted until it resets
5. Highscores and not being able to post resets after every week, starting one week from the date of this post
6. The objective is to get the most times between posts
7. Reset timer is global, not individual

Rules
1. Don't post after you've already posted until it resets
2. Posts for asking questions, and talking about this ect. are allowed and you don't have to wait for these types of posts, just make sure to mark it so

Ask me if you have any questions

I suggest there should be achievements/talismans for the entire game (such as: Save 1,000,000 total lems, Complete Lemmings Redux ect.). They could be easily cheated with custom levels but I think they will be a fun thing for the people who play legitimately

10
Show the hi resolution version of the lemming sprites which appear on the skill panel for that level

(this)

in the skillset preview in the level select window

(here)

Instead of just the regular lemmings.

So for instance the skillset preview in the level select window for Xmas Lemmings will contain them all wearing red and xmas hats.

11
Add a button to automatically load a folder of replays for a rank and play them automatically in order continually. For instance, I could select the 'Fun' rank in the level select, click a button to automatically load repalys, select a folder (I could put all my 'Fun' replays from the 'Auto' folder into a seprate folder for example) and it would continually play my replays for all levels in 'Fun'.
