This is a suggestion for Lix. When selecting a replay in Lix, I believe it would be good to allow the file explorer to go further back outside of the lix/replays directory. A Lix player might back up the best replays to a certain location outside the Lix directory, download a replay off of someone else, etc. so I feel like it would be good to add a way to access them from Lix itself without having to copy the replay you'd like to view to the lix/replays directory.

Edit Simon: Solution was to enter exactly the native resolution of the monitor.

If you put an irregular value as your Lix window size it opens and closes again. At least I think that this is what this is. Maybe add a warning before making it an regular value?

Be able to drag Lix like any other normal window without having to specify a specific resolution first.

At 19:00:00 UTC today, me and Simon played some 2-player Lix. During it, the chat went to fast for me to properly read what Simon said, so the conversation topic come up of a suggestion for Lix that you should be able to go back and see the full chat history.

If I got the "Who's Online" list, set it to "Show members only", log out and log back in again, it will change back to showing every member. Is it possible to save your preferences for this list between sessions?"

Is it possible to add an option to log in to the forums with your email address as well as your username? I thought this used to be an option but I might be misremembering, but even if I'm not it would be good to add anyway.

Lix Main / Unable to paste a name into Lix

When I try to paste something into the name when first running Lix, I am unable to paste, because when I press Ctrl+V it just says "V" and does not paste what is in the clipboard.
Expected behaviour: Pastes what is on the clipboard into the name box when pressing Ctrl+V.
Running Lix version 0.10.13 on Windows 11 Home version 22H2.
Everything I've said here also applies to chaning the name agian in settings afterwads.

Editor Bugs / Suggestions / [SUG][EDITOR] Autofill presets, when choosing a level's skills (Classic, ect.)

My suggestion is, add a button or buttons in a level's skills tab which when pressed would automatically set the skills to a custom preset of skills. For example, in this case all of the 8 classic skills are set to 100 (which makes you have an infinte amount of that skill in the editor). An example of when this would be useful is the fact, I often find myself making the actual layout of the level first and then going through it with infinte skills to get a feel for how the level plays and because you can only have a maximum of 10 skills I ususally just use the 8 classic skills. Maybe the presets could be customizeable? For example the people in this thread might want to set their "10 classic skills" as a preset. Maybe presets could be downloaded and set to other people?

I think that when you place down the skill remover object, you can set what specific skills you want it to remove instead of just removing all skills. For example if a FLOATER + CLIMBER went through one you could set it just to remove climbers and the lemming that went through it would still be a FLOATER

My suggestion is, even if snap to grid is on, you can hold down right click and move an object or piece of terrain around freely without it snapping to the grid. This wouldn't toggle snap to grid off, however it would bypass whether snap for grid is on while right click is held down. This could be useful for instance if you used snap to grid mode, but had to align the trigger area of an object precisely and didn't want to turn it off just to turn it on again in a few secs.
