I was taking a look at Wicked 15 for the min-skills for max-% thread, and I have to call into question the 7-builder result for that level in this thread.  The result is first mentioned in my post here, but I made a reference to Proxima's earlier work, which I can't seem to find anywhere.  I'm sure I took the 7-builder result from his original post, since I can't seem to replicate it myself.

Later on, Proxima posted this in a post that appears to have been deleted, but not before it was quoted by Clam:

Quote from: ProximaWicked 15 -- now that I'm actually playing this in Lemmix, it looks like my previous result may be incorrect. It seems that in the original game you have to place 6 bricks under the hatch to make the fall safe, and that can only be done using a clever trick seen in this video

This suggests that the 7-builder solution may have been incorrect.  I'm going to assume it is unless someone can provide evidence confirming that it's doable.  The fewest I was able to use, while still saving 48/50, is 9 builders.

Wicked 13 is now down to 16 skills.  See attached screenshot.

Tricky 25 is almost certainly possible, but extremely hard.  I had a go at it, and I was able to take out the vast majority of each bridge while still saving more than enough to pass the level.  I didn't quite clear out everything due to some poor bomber/nuke timing, but I got enough to believe that it can be done.

Here's a no-digger solution to Havoc 18.  It's actually pretty straightforward except for a well-placed bomber to ensure the crowd doesn't wander astray while the final bridge is underway.  The attached screenshot should provide sufficient detail on the solution.

A couple more improvements in Crazy:

Crazy 12: 6 skills - See this post from Clam
Crazy 19: 7 skills - This is the ceiling route, using the release rate and the long basher tunnel to create a large gap in the crowd, allowing the basher to finish the bridge over the OWW before anyone overtakes him.

Crazy 8 improved to 11 skills.  This is the 4-builder solution that ccexplore found waaaaay back in 2005.

Besides the four builders, the solution also uses a blocker, 3 bashers, 2 miners, and a digger.

Mayhem 8, I can't even reproduce Minim's result, let alone beat it. The best I can manage is 10 skills - three to contain + release the crowd, three builders to cross the gap. It seems you then need at least four to get past the wall without losing any lemmings (the easiest way being 2 climbers + 2 diggers).

I don't have time at the moment to try this out, but it seems to me that you should be able to get past the wall with just 1 climber + 2 diggers.  There should be plenty of time for the one climber to climb up, dig down, and repeat.

This is not an improvement per se, but I finally confirmed 12 skills for Wicked 6.

Previously this result was unconfirmed, but assumed based on a combination of ccexplore doing the left side of the level with 5 skills and me doing the right side of the level with 7 skills.  After a long look at the level this afternoon, I have finally figured out the 5-skill solution for the left side, and put the two sides together to confirm the long-suspected 12-skill 100% solution.

Improvements for both Taxing 2 and Mayhem 1 are confirmed in DOS.  Taxing 2 with 7 skills is actually pretty straightforward - first 3 lemmings dig, RR 99, then bash twice and build twice to the exit.  The crowd has enough walking space to render any sort of crowd control unnecessary.

Mayhem 1 with 27 skills just barely works, using 2 floaters, 24 builders, and 1 digger.  A screenshot of the left side of the level is attached.

Here's a couple of random improvements from ONML:

Crazy 20: 10 builders, 1 basher.  10-builder screenshot attached (requires steel glitches).
Wild 1: 1 builder, 1 miner.  1-builder screenshot attached (requires direct drop).

Challenges / Re: Maximum Lemmings Saved Records

Well done!

I saw MASTER-88's post and had similar skepticism -- I thought maybe the Genesis version had a slightly narrower wall, or a different size bomber crater, or slightly different physics that made 48/50 possible.  I didn't think the stuck climber trick was a possibility because I didn't see a way to get the climber into the wall in the first place.  But when I saw ccexplore mention the climber backing 2 pixels away from a wall after hitting a ceiling, I knew what had to be done.

I can now confirm the result in DOSBox.

[L3D] Mayhem 16 "Fun Fair" - 1 blocker, 5 turners, 4 builders, 1 miner, 1 digger, 6 climbers

As I mentioned in the min-skills thread, this one can be done with just 3 builders (plus all of the other skills, of course).  It's really just the standard solution.

Filling in the gaps from L3D:

L3D Level 35: 7 skills
L3D Level 50: 9 skills
L3D Level 68: 9 skills
L3D Level 75: 6 skills (the 1-basher solution)
L3D Level 78: 12 skills (a variation of the 7-builder solution)

Also, L3D Level 76 (Fun Fair) is down to 17 skills - the standard solution only requires 3 builders.

Tricky 25 - 4 skills? (This is based on that there's a save-76 solution, which "may" involve 3 bombers, and the fact that the level can't be solved without at least 1 turner.)
4 skills is correct (2 bombers and 2 turners)

Mayhem 67, I've confirmed two different paths for 6 skills (one via middle spring, one via first spring), but I'm working on a possible 5 skill solution. Best attempt so far saves 59 (and would save 60 but for a minor screwup near the end), but a lot of lemmings are lost to a different spring and I think there's room to avoid this with better RR manipulation (and that's saying something, as this solution already involves over 20 release rate changes).
5 skills is now confirmed.  Get ready to slap yourself in the head with this one:

L3D Level 67 - 5 Skills
Make the first lemming a right turner as soon as he lands, and let the second lemming drop off the block then make him a left turner.  Now build 2x over the water and assign a right turner to guide the crowd to the exit.  Several lemmings will be lost while the bridge is in progress, but enough will be saved to pass the level.

For L3D Fun 18, I'm going to suggest the obvious 16 skills as a starting point.  The max-saved solution uses a lot more.

L3D Fun 19: 5 skills, from the max-saved solution.

I'll take a look at a few of the other gaps over the course of the next few days.

Apparently I didn't push my own method far enough.  Mayhem 25 is now down to 12 skills.

Solution
1: The first lemming builds a short ways back from the edge.
2: The second lemming builds a short distance behind him, just a couple of steps after he lands.
3: The third lemming digs in a pixel-precise location on the first builder's bridge, such that he will continue through the edge of the steel. (The first builder will hit the wall and turn around just as the second builder is patching up the hole.)
4: The fourth lemming blocks on the second lemming's first brick.
5: Increase the release rate to 19.
6: The digger/leader uses six builders to blaze a path to the exit.
7: Mine through the bridge restraining the crowd, about halfway up.
8: Make a lemming coming out of the entrance bash to free the blocker.

This solution will also work for Tricky 13.
