Where can i find the Amiga levels in Lix?

Hi!

Lix doesn't support DMA's old level formats from 1991, and you cannot put those old levels into Lix.

Nowadays, for playing Amiga levels from Lemmings 1, you have a few options:


• NeoLemmix Community Edition and play its included level pack Lemmings Redux.
  
• or SuperLemmix if even the menuing should look like Amiga,
  
• or Amiga Emulation, running DMA's Lemmings from 1991 directly.

No you're mistaken Simon. Some levels in Lix are homages and extremely similar (essentially remakes) of L1 levels. Also, scattered around the forums somewhere are downloads to remakes of the old L1 and ONML two-player levels. I remember this, as I wanted to play these at some point.

Maybe we should make a list of all the homages?

I was thinking of doing this, but for just the list of all the homoages (not including levels with the same design, not including the tutorial levels, and only including 6p multi-player levels and races as to pick a random player count to not include any player count duplicates (remember this is an estimate)) there are 1018 Lix levels. There are 120+100=220 L1 and ONML levels. 1018*220=223960 elements of the cartesian product of Lix levels and L1 and ONML lemmings levels. Divide by two because order doesn't matter = 111980 levels to check. (This is a slight over-estimate as once you find a homage you can take it off the list). If we say each pair takes one second to check (already quite generous) thats 31 hours to spend checking. And I simply do not care about this enough to spend this much time to create the list.

This is where I remade the original 2-player levels in Lix. Download is very old and I haven't checked if it works on recent Lix versions.

If I recall correctly there are 2 download links. One has only L1 levels and modified skills and one has L1 and ONML levels and correct skills but 1 missing level. My memories are flooding back now from when I wanted to download them myself a while ago.
