You're definitely right. That's what I also love about this game : cant find the solution right away, keep the level in a corner of my mind, think about it later and find the solution.

Currently this last riddle in advanced training has me stuck. I think I have something, but unsure if this is the correct solution that I cannot pull out correctly, or if I am just wrong.

If you're willing to give little help but no spoil on Victory Lap, advanced training 27 : is the crowd supposed to be released via about the same path as the climbers from the beginning, or does the crowd take a different path ?

The best help I can give you is really to especially remember the tricks introduced in the last few levels and see where you find use for them.

Route hint
I struggle to get to your definition of "path" and how precise you define the term. Let's just say if you mean a completely different way through another map section: I have trouble figuriung out where an alternative route shall go through then. ;P

Tricks recently learned I am using here :
* basher canceled to blocker then blown by bomber to access the upper right part of the level.
* digger canceled by another digger to avoid the splat at the exit. So I plan on using both diggers at the very end. Though I fear the climbers will give me troubles here.

What I am unsure of is how to free the crowd. With a miner for sure, but if the miner should send everyone to the basher-blocker-bomber area, then I am one or two pixels short to make everyone climb there.

Oh well, I'll give it more tries and see...

Yay ! The hardest part for me to figure was the "make the 3rd climber dig", in order to let the others close  enough to have an half turn at the crucial moment. Brilliant design  :8:()[:

V 2.0 is out!

The update introduces three new levels to the "Objects & Functions" rank for the new objects:

- "Thinking With Portals" (Portals)
- "Becoming Indifferent" (Neutralizers / Deneutralizers)
- "Fluctuant Knowledge" (Assigners / Deassigners)

My replays are attached for the three new levels that use the new 12.13 NL objects. Great levels, though "Becoming Indifferent" might be a little difficult considering that I fell for the trap of being a basher short. Also, only one jumper used for "Fluctuant Knowledge" ;)

As mentioned from quite a while back, I think the portal introduction level can be a bit closer to the level that introduces teleporters, and similarly maybe the neutralizer/deneutralizer can come a bit after the neutral Lemmings introduction level. Finally, if there is a level that introduces preplaced Lemmings with preassigned permanent skills and/or a level with preassigned trapdoors, maybe the skill assigner/deassigner tutorial can come a bit after either one.

That you fell for the slight trap in "Becoming Indifferent" is indeed intentional. It shall be a moment for a slight hickup to look and see how to prepare the route and use the jumper. I had a basher instead of the jumper at first, but decided for this tweak.
The older level introducing neutrals before that also already had a slight puzzle, so I wanted to keep that level of difficulty.

Nothing major, just not completely trivial.

The jumpers in "Fluctuant Knowledge" are just for saving lemmings when building that last platform with no crowd containment. I used 2 for that and I just wanted to give an amount where platforming is necessary, but not punishing any solutions otherwise.

For the ordering I went with complexity ordering rather than with theme ordering and that's why I chose to stick them to the end:

- The teleporter is rather easy alone and introducing portals and showing the differences betweeen them is quite a bit more complex, so I decided to leave a gap there.
- The neutral level was already quite hard and I wouldn't want it to be earlier in the rank. That leaves only a little gap to the neutralizer/deneutralizer introduction which needs the neutrals as a basis.

V 2.1 is out!

I saw a slight backroute by eric for "Becoming Indifferent" and decided the best fix is to adjust to kaywhyn's suggestion and remove the jumper and to add a basher.

Fixed levels:

- "Becoming Indifferent" - Removed the jumper, added a basher
- "Fluctuant Knowledge" - Very minor visual fix

"Becoming Indifferent" resolved :) Yea, this was exactly what I tried before with the jumper version which of course doesn't work :laugh: Now not only does it work, but it's definitely at a much more suitable difficulty for the Objects & Functions rank now! :thumbsup:
