First of all:

WELCOME BACK!

You may wonder now, what happened to all smilies. I'll bring the smilies back! Just give me a break! It's almost 1:30 am. xD

If you find anything that's wrong please tell me.

Ok, it says that I can't have more than 20 messages in my Outbox.  It then supposedly go ahead and deleted my oldest 7 messages in the outbox, but it looks to me like it deleted the *newest* 7!

Gee thanks.  :-/

It was probably one of the add-ons that hasn't been reinstalled yet.
BTW, non-guests can edit their posts.  ;)

Edit: w00t! 2^8 post!

Ok, looks like I temporarily run out of things to whine about &#A0;;)

Yeah, after the glaring shock of the new look of the forum has settled down, I'm starting to like the new look of the forum.

Now let's see:

wingdings encryption test
"invisible text" test

Looks like tests passed.

wingdings fails from where i'm looking.

Edit: looks like Firefox doesn't like wingdings anymore... oh well.

Ooh, nested quotes finally work! : party time :

Anyway, about guest postings. &#A0;Although I'm the main user of it, at the very least guest postings should be enabled for the "Game Help" and "Technical Help" forums, except in case of emergencies (eg. trolls or spambots etc.)

Yeah, I had over 100 that I'd been saving. It could have at least saved my 20 newest ones!

I've noticed that this limit can be lifted in the admin settings. I'll set it to 100. (Andi, if there's a good reason way such a low limit was set, please feel free to change it back and give me a slap on the wrist if you wish!  :P)

Forum search is still buggy, the issue mentioned here still holds after this upgrade.

And I'm awaiting the opportunity to see whether the "must double-post to show the single new message on new page" (here) bug is fixed or not.

Oh yeah, love the new feature that counts how many remaining characters you're allowed in your post. :thumbs-up:

We need wingdings back too! Or even better, <span style="font-family:wingdings">HTML</span>!

Overall, I like the new boards. There are far more features.

[edit]I wonder what this looks like.[/edit]

And check out the 'live preview' feature in the reply form! It's awesome!  8-)

[edit]Hmm, a slight complaint that my avatar has been squashed. But oh well, a few sacrifices won't kill people.  :P[/edit]

PS: Yippie! Another thing I just noticed is that when your text cursor is somewhere in the middle of your message, and you click on a tag, it inserts it where you cursor is instead of right at the end of your message! I'm glad to see that YABB has moved from the dark ages.

I'd wondered where we went yesterday, but it seems I know now.  YAY FOR THE UPGRADED FORUM!  ;D

EDIT:  I found some errors and annoyances.  I'm annoyed that I have to reenter my password to get into my profile (I actually almost couldn't log back in the first time I came to the new board because I'd last entered my password over a year earlier XD)
And for errors, I felt like looking at old topics and stuff, but they give me errors about not being able to find "*randomnumbershere*.txt"

Euch, ugly........ and does the text have to be so titchy?

Cool smilies though. With the lemmings ones (all except :P ) I usually couldn't tell what expression it was meant to suggest.

"You have X messages, Y are new" will be convenient; saves me having to remember how many I had last time I checked  ;D

And yes, we need the quick reply box back. Especially for the 70-page topics.......

You'll have to excuse me, I tried to log on to the site yesterday, but it was down.

It'll also take me a bit of time to adjust from the old YaBB, so bear with me.

I had about 38 PM's, Time to see if they're all still there.

And I have to say that I prefer the site how it was a week ago, but it's always like that when I need to adjust to changes.

And just a small thing, but what happened to four of my stars!?!
