Your Websites
« on: July 13, 2004, 10:58:59 AM »
Post your websites here.

Anyway... mine. As you know, Lemming Crazy is one of my websites.

As you may not know, or may have worked out from my sig, or may know through other methods, I now have a message board about just random stuff, at http://whatever370.suddenlaunch3.com/index.cgi - don't forget to register!
My Lemmings projects
2D Lemmings: NeoLemmix (engine) | Lemmings Plus Series (level packs) | Doomsday Lemmings (level pack)
3D Lemmings: Loap (engine) | L3DEdit (level / graphics editor) | L3DUtils (replay / etc utility) | Lemmings Plus 3D (level pack)

OK. Anyone who likes video games (most Sonic the Hedgehog) should come to my site. I create games. I just opened this site-- and constantly trying to get more content up. Currently, it would help if you had Clickteam's Multimedia Fusion v.1.5.

http://www.freewebs.com/ksoftgames

and I have a messageboard, with a Lemmings discussion area, along with other things.

http://p196.ezboard.com/bksoftgames

Please visit. I just got 50 hits yesterday, after a month of the site being open. About 45 of those were me.

Correction: "Listed with the members" or something like that... even I'm not 100% sure here though.

Anyway, this can also be for if you have more that one website(example, Lemming Crazy is not in my "Website" link under the members section), or if you want to chat about your websites as well.

My Useless Website, for those of you who never actually knew of it. My LE (Although not my Cheapo for some reason...) packs are for download there, and there are a few other Mario-related things on it, although it is nothing special. I mean, I only know about 6 HTML commands...

Haha. If you didn't notice, my board also has "Five Word Story", "Three Word Story", "Random Story" and "Endless Sentence".

As well as roleplay(s), but I generally don't get involved in the roleplays, I leave that to "ghostofthechild"(the other administrator). EDIT: Now I do!

Also, if you're going to accuse me of ripping off LUDB with those four things, consider these: I started 3WS and I had previously seen it on another site. "Random Story"'s are found on many boards. "Endless Sentence" was started by me, and it was my idea(even though it's probably been done other places before). I suppose you can still accuse me of ripping LUDB off with 5WS though.

It is not obligated to create a website absolutely! If you create a website, you must have a subject to talk about or you can just create an FTP account to stock pictures or zip files.

Create a website is easy, but putting it on the web is another thing... X_X

I'm in the middle of making a Lemmings website. Unfortunately, about the only section I've worked on much is the downloads. However, more should be coming soon.

I'd really recommend using a proper website design program, like Frontpage or Dreamweaver... Flash is good for interactive content and what have you, but it's not really built for making full websites.

I still use old outdated Netscape Composer  :P

And the amazing thing is, I made my whole web page with it, painful though it was. I added this new section...

I'd honestly recommend just coding it by hand in XHTML and CSS. The markup is pretty much plain English and is easy to understand. Just make sure to validate your code so that it looks good for all us Firefox users.  :D

Lemeri- hehe, that program is an oldy but a goodie for sure. If you like it, you might want to check out a program called Nvu (http://www.nvu.com/). It is basically a newer version of the old Netscape Composer.  B)

I already said this, I think, but nice site :D

I added another section to my site, too. Actually, I did that a while ago. And there's a link from my main page. But still. As you can probably tell, it's mainly a rough draft.

And I use Composer, too, with a few bits of hand editing thrown in.

Like what? I mean, could you be a little more specific? It works fine for me, and I really can't check to fix it if I don't even know what the problem is.

I use 1024x768, which is likely why I didn't notice that... What about mine? Does it have any problems on higher resolutions?

Which reminds me...

http://www.familylees.net/~boofer/bgi2.gif - Axon Background

Which do you like better?

I like the pose of the Axon one better, but Xan looks neater all around.

Eh well... I don't know how to fix that. Garn.

In the Fansite-Kit of UT is a Logo without the purple background. If 500 MB are too much for you, I can send it to you. Both looks nice, btw.

I can get the non purple one too. It comes up in the end screen after you've won the game. So I'll just try to get Xan in a better pose.

Heh. I noticed that my board has more topics and more users than this board, but fewer posts.

I'm not saying mine is better. I'm just saying that it's interesting that, while this one has more posts, my one has more topics and users. Lol.
