It doesn't seem there's any option already in the forum software for it, sorry to say.
How important is it to you to have this feature? From what I can tell, most people tend to reply anyway alongside any majorly important edits, which would then trigger an email notification. If you really do think this is a nessecary feature, I can perhaps look into implementing it.
