There's always e-Bay to try, although you could well end up paying more than you should.

Why do you want to buy lemmings when now this game is an abandonware and that you can get it for free? O_o

Abandonware IS illegal. -.-

Although I could use eMule or whatever I also bought my games. It's also nice if you can see the original boxes instead of strange NFO-Files.

And you can actually still get Windows Lemmings in various places. I've seen it in Game. I also bought Lemmings Paintball there, but I never really got very far.

:disagree:

Nope! Abandonware ISN'T illegal! >:(
This is a place where some video games companies GIVE their old games to be downloaded for FREE because these games are so old and aren't much for sale in video games shops! Of course, they're still more for sale on Internet, but... don't pay for oldies, unless you want to pay for Psygnosis and DMA Design. That way, it's your choice!

That may be, but I'm not aware that Psygnosis/DMA (or whatever company last obtained the rights to the games in question) has done such a thing ("GIVE their old games") with regards to any of the Lemmings game.

Ultimately the legality rests solely upon the company holding the relevant intellectual property rights to the game.

I mean I'm looking for the very original one.  Not the Lemmings Paintball one.  I need it because you have to have it to run LemEdit and I REALLY want to run LemEdit.

eBay. You won't get it in ANY shop.

Or abandonware... If it's legal or not. But most of these games are illegal, because the company was swallowed by another company which has no more interests. But then maybe no one will be interested if you have it illegal or not and ahhh. Whatever... Never mind.....

On a french abandonware website, they says that they accept only games that are before 1995 (if I remember, because the site is currently down). Anyway... I don't think abandonware websites are illegal. Anyway, think anything you want...
