The nx_sketches.dat is a very useful feature; however, they are missing the glider shadows.

Closed / White line on right side of minimap [BUG] [PLAYER]

A very minor bug. Scroll to the right of the level, then scroll back. Look on the right side of the minimap. A white line stays on the right (seen in GIF below).



This only happens on some levels. Unruly 9 "Buzzing Around" and Outrageous 12 "Plan Bee" of Lemmings Plus V are examples that have this problem.

Sorry for the unclear title (as it's hard to briefly describe it), but this report hopefully will be clearer. Feel free to change the title.

Open the editor, select any graphic set. Then place any number of terrain/objects in the level.

Select all pieces by pressing the 'A' hotkey or dragging over the editor to select all pieces.

Afterwards, if you want to change terrain pieces only, go to the terrain menu and choose any terrain.

Intended behavior: only the terrain, not the objects, should be changed. The vice versa must also be true.
Unintended behavior: Everything, including objects changes.

The vice versa can also happen when intending to change the objects only.

See GIF picture below. Only the blocks should turn blue; however, the trapdoor/exit also changes to water when they shouldn't.

Click on File (top left of the editor), New, then DAT Level Pack... You then get an Access Violation error:

Access violation at address 0040370A in module 'NeoLemmixEditor.exe'. Read of address 00000000.

As NeoLemmix no longer relies on DAT Level packs, this menu option should be removed.

Closed / Disable Cheat Hotkey in Single Level Mode [SUGG.] [EXP-PLAYER]

During playing a single level, when you press the cheat hotkey, the level ends, and you end up back at the preview screen of the same level. This should be disabled, as the cheat hotkey is only for wanting to quickly skip to the next level in a level pack.

There should also be markers for splat pads/antisplat pads. People who have never played LPIV can potentially get confused by the splat/antisplat pads in the Wasteland set as they look like continuous traps.

We now have guiding shadows for destructive skills and builders, as well as gliders. However, it can still be difficult to determine what is safe fall distance and what is splat fall distance. Therefore, is it possible if you can try to implement some sort of "ruler" to measure if the fall distance is safe or deadly? This might be very hard to code though.

Edit: Now further suggested for the editor (along with construction skill / destruction skill and blocker rulers)

When a zombie falls into a bottomless pit or exits the sides of the wall, they make the high-pitched squeals that a regular lemming also does. This should be changed so their voices sound deeper.

When a trapdoor is pre-assigned zombies, every zombie that comes out makes a zombie noise. I am not sure if this is intended or not; I thought the noise only applies to when a regular lemming is turned into a zombie.

I remember a long time ago that you wanted to discuss implementing Wrap in more of a Lix manner than the NeoLemmix gimmick manner*. Should we still do this?

*For those who don't know, the NeoLemmix gimmick version involved merely lemmings walking past one side of the level to appear in the opposite side (i.e. if they walk through the left side, they appear on the right, vice versa, and ditto for up-down and down-up), while Lix is more of a scrolling thing - think of it as like as 2-D version of Lemmings Revolution.

Should the Clear Physics Mode be extended so that when you turn it on, all no-effect objects and moving backgrounds disappear as well? This will also help potentially minimize confusion, especially how the Freedom Planet Tilesets and the L3 Egyptian / Shadow tilesets still have no-effect objects as backgrounds, as well as the trees in the L2 Shadow tileset that look like terrain.

Editor: v1.47n

Minor suggestion: In the NeoLemmix Editor settings, next to the words Test Mode are the words "(NeoLemmix only)". These words are no longer necessary especially as the NeoLemmix editor has dropped support for all other engines.

Open a level. Go to option and set Test Mode to either "Postview only", "No Splashscreens" or "None+Autosave Replay".

Then open up test mode for the level. You will see a white screen in front of you in the level area instead (picture below), and every lemming that comes out will die immediately (with screaming sound).

This bug does not occur on "Preview + Postview" mode.

Since DOS/Lemmix support has been removed, NeoCustLemmix is no longer a thing, and people can now make level packs of more than ten levels using the Flexi Toolkit, should this function be removed?
