The Next Move
« on: July 13, 2006, 12:39:37 AM »
So... we going to move to a section of a forum during August... or are we?

Alternatives:
-- I can host the current forum during August.
-- We can move to my board.

I'm unsure.  I'm talking with my friend; we may be able to move this forum over (simply changing the URL), but we don't know.

And permanency ensues.  New LF home, this is.

I don't get something here, You said permanency ensues after somebody was saying that we're moving the forum, how does that work? Are we moving the URL but keeping the forum the same?

Been done for like a week now.  Time to change the news message, then.

I did not follow the things here last 3 weeks although:
1) I got private messages that the forum was hacked
2) I got a private message from "Fuck" containing the text "Fuck"
3) address of forum moved again

I really don't understand.
Can anyone explain?
I guess the forum software sucks.

I'll answer.

1. False alarm
2. Sunrise (aka Steaver) got around his bans again and spammed everyone.  Just delete it.
3. Yeah, it did.

The software doesn't suck, it's just that we've got this troublesome idiot who has nothing better to do than attack us.

Sunrise (aka Steaver) could be anyone now, cuz I have notice that we had an lot of guests from about 2,3 or 4 days ago

@Andi: When you took down the old lemmingswelt forums, you re-directed to the new one that Mr. Ksoft set up. But then he moved the forum without re-directing the old link to the new, so it is impossible to get here from the "Love is over" page. Please change it if you get a chance, because some people might think the forum community fell apart completely.

When I was away and tried to get to this forum I realized this problem. ;) The new URL is right now in my clipboard and waits for insertation in the redirection page.

Btw, if you don't work on a site anymore you often forget this sort of stuff.
