DOSBox Lemmings Glitch?
« on: March 08, 2015, 07:03:07 PM »
Hi, it's me again!
Sorry for the unclearness in the title. I'll shortly explain the problem I'm having.
I'm using DOSBox 0.74, on Windows 7. Then I'm playing the original Lemmings downloaded from Abandonia.
Sometimes, when using left click to retry a level or go to the next level, my game goes back to the title screen and freezes. If I press Alt+Enter it'll unfreeze again. But the freezing is not really the problem, the problem is that it goes back to the title screen, which makes the music playlist reset.
Does anyone else have this problem occurring? Does anyone know why it happens or how it's solved?
I'm almost certain it won't happen in SuperLemmini or Lemmix, but I prefer DOSBox.

Try these executables (see attachment) in Dosbox instead of the regular L1 executable. See the readme.txt about how they differ.

In addition, I recall unfreezing L1 in Dosbox by right-clicking, then left-clicking.

Thank you! That actually works better than the original, I'll be using lem-fix3 from now on!  :D
