Wow, this is really good. I like the custom maps you put together, very pretty. Amazing visuals, and a good music score, too.

Hey, that's me in the credits!

You think someday this will become and indy-game from a kickstarter or something?

For example The game Freedom planet started out as a sonic fan game
but later became its own thing with a kickstarter to get it funded and released

Ok, I just do things that interest me for fun.   I like to make videos.
And I love Lix.

Even if people don't really like what I am doing here, its all ok to me, as I could watch these again in the future and enjoy them for myself.
No one is really responding here, so I get the picture overall.  I can do this for my own entertainment.     But its ok like I said above ^

I deeply acknowledge the time and work put in these videos. Stitching multiple screens next to each other is a fresh idea. The result looks very nice despite all constraints. It's much more than simply recording a replay.

This is a thread much like Prob Lem's plushie threads. It's hard for me to post substantial feedback. I find it pure admiration hard to post. I want to find and report bugs, but that doesn't feel appropriate in a thread about the end result >_>

Rubix and I have discussed the large video in IRC. We had very different expectations on how things should look. Rubix didn't like the zoom at first, and I love it. :-)

Er
Thanks Simon ^

I was actually just trying to get across to Giga the reason I do things, and its not that im trying to turn your game into something mainstream or something hehe.
I like being creative, and I can do that with video editing.  I get a lot out of watching stuff I make, even if its not for everyone.

I've done stuff like this for years in all games I play, and it just makes me feel good about myself when I rewatch old stuff I made.
I make things for me, and I'm just glad when other people enjoy it too.

Rubix  :)

Oh, and Simon was right about the zoom stuff I changed in the main Lix video.   After testing it, I thought its looking bad, so I didn't put it in, but after rendering it for a test I was liking it a lot more, and change the whole second half of the video that way.  It worked good.

Just watched these! The screen-stitching effect is really impressive. It's neat to see tall maps like Tower Defense visible on one screen -- scrolling up and down constantly leaves for a much more claustrophobic feeling where it's hard to keep a sense of what's happening everywhere. Being able to see everything at once is far better. Lix would be greatly enhanced by an improved resolution to allow for this experience in game... * hint, hint, Simon *

:lix: <-- the lix wants you to.

EDIT Simon: This gets its own topic, Arbitrary resolution (feature wish)
