I got S1 using 2 skills, and 2 saved (50%) 5242 Points JP (5006 adjusted for US/EU (5006 is the point amount that should be noted, since everything else here is done in EU/US points))
the structure at the top is different between JP and EU/US, allowing for a 2 skill solution that saves two lemmings (this is entirly JP only from what i can see)

AC if you want to try it rta: ANAHEDN

DOS
F1 improved by 4s (16s)
F2 improved by 1s (19s)
F3 improved by 1s (20s)
F5 improved by 1s (36s)
F6 improved by 1s (21s)
F7 improved by 2s (46s)
F8 improved by 17s (7s)
F9 improved by 1s (28s)
F10 improved by 2s (10s)
F11 improved by 1s (30s)
F13 first time set 45s
F30 improved by 8s (9s)

Notes: all of these are made with the assumption that you ESC on the exact Q enough lemmings are saved.
Some of these times i have actually done better RTA but because "dos" in so extremly unspecified EVERYWHERE on LF, im simply not going to include them here because of version diffrences and High performance mode (which can save 2-3s on every levels igt).

M1 with 14 builders, golems. no insane tricks, should work the same in lemmix
#4
M21 can be done with 2 floaters on the CD version, even if we dont count the CD version as the main, it should be noted

Similarly all WAFDs can be done without any skills at all

M1 can also be done without a floater, i dont have a video for it though.

4 Builder M2 done in Lemmix
#7
Builders are one of if not the most used skill in the original Lemmings. so what if we tried not to use them.
All versions are allowed, depending on which has the lowest builder count on a given level.

This challenge is mainly about the least amount in theory, meaning that even if something cant be done RTA (real time attack) it will be accepted. But if the amount differs between TAS (tool assisted superplay) and RTA it will be noted.

Videos for each solution will be added except for levels that do not include builders at all, since they obviously are done without builders.

Note: Even levels where the minimum amount is obvious will be left as "[not tested]" until they have a official solution for this and a video. (this note will be removed once every level is tested.)

Challenges / Re: Lemmings Cranium - Challenge Rank
March 05, 2025, 10:08:55 AM
you spyecificly mentioned minimum skill usage and max lemmings saved. you could make a list like we have for snes max points where it shows the amount of skill needed for each level and how many lemmings can be saved. i think i'd be cool to have a list like that

i'd like to see other peoples opinions on having both orig and onml on one topic or having them on diffrent ones, but there probably will be a place for onml too in a bit. for now i'll add it to this

Challenges / Amiga Lemmings Achivements
February 18, 2025, 03:24:03 PM
What if Amiga Lemmings had achievements? The website Retro Achievements has sets of achievements for many games, including some versions of Lemmings. On discord, a group of us came up with the idea of making an achievement set for Amiga Lemmings, which maybe one day the site will be able to accept.

Feel free to propose achievements and their point values!

Tech & Research / Re: Glitches in Lemmings

interesting, i didnt know there where ones too for dos too. one more interesting level code thing that is amiga specific though, is the "extra ratings" they where posted in a diffrent topic before but i didnt see them here so im just saying what they are, and the main diffrences:
"Player H"
rating code : HJANLLFHLM
10 times M30 + all 2 player levels playable as single player.

"Blue"
rating code : FAJHMFIJJS
30 times M30, not very interesting but a fun challenge to try, i guess

there is also another one that gives you F1 as the first level but shows it as, i think, level 21, however it doesnt do anything and just transitions to F2 afterward

Might be known but also havnt seen it here.
On the SNES version there is a level code for Fun1, on the US version its "SRDTPTP", funnily enough, you get this code after beating Sunsoft 5, the last level of the game. (only tested this on US v1.1 but will probably work on JP and EU too. though the code would be diffrent, thats why i didnt test those)

Lemmings Main / Re: Over 100 lemmings
December 04, 2024, 07:41:35 PM
yeah, its not really playable, it does work but it would take days probably for all lemmings to enter, even at DFF. If you try to import a level with more than that amount the game will simply say that the file isnt valid and not accept it, it wont crash though, but i wouldnt doubt it crashing if you'd force it.

Didnt know that NL worked that way, but i'd probably still refer to it as Q since its essentially the same, and Q is just a physics update, which can be 1f, in that case the two are the same but Q would still be a usable term imo. It came from "quad frame" for "4 frames" but it has more gone to just mean a physics update in general.

Thanks for the welcome!
i've already been here for some time, just changed display name

Lemmings Main / Re: Over 100 lemmings

speaking of over 100...
how about 2147483647, which is the max amount of lemmings you can have in one level in SuperLemmini without cheats, though it can only be done by manually editing the .ini file
