Not sure what you mean? Are you a NeoLemmix contributor or developer? I can't help you any further than provide you with the resources to backport it to NL.

nothing of that, just a silly neolemmix player that is working on its first pack: X-tralems (no promotion)

btw about the set up, im talking about the animations, folders and that

what i mean is that i want to set up the macintosh styles folders with the terrain, animated objects and that

basically putting the folders in where should they go like the trap animations, lemming animations for the theme section, hatch and goal animations and that

thats what i mean :D

Ultimate Lemmings 1.9.2 is out!

Changes since 1.9.0
  • Completion celebrations are back. Reaching the rescue goal brings back the celebratory music change. A subtle golden glow adds to the moment across Classic, Lemmings 2 and Lemmings 3. Reduced-motion and reduced-flash settings are respected.
  • Zooms and Superzooms are awarded clearly. Learning and Hot Seat journey results now credit earned rewards and show how many you received. You earn one Zoom per three unassisted stars, and one Superzoom per three distinct unassisted three-star levels. Repeat clears and assisted runs do not generate extra rewards.
  • A better learning order. Cellbash is now lesson 2, introducing the single-Basher solution early. Come back! moves to lesson 71 in Intermediate, where its bombing and bridge-building challenge fits better. Existing journeys keep their current level, history and players.
  • A quieter gameplay Menu button. It fades after a few seconds and returns when you hover over it or give it keyboard focus.
  • The Mac menu bar is accessible again. Move the pointer to the top edge to release cursor capture. It stays released while a menu is open and resumes when you return to play.
  • Previous and Next work in Records. Browse the current campaign in level order with the buttons or left/right arrow keys, including levels you have not played yet. Browsing records does not change your current game or Hot Seat turn.
  • Song titles and soundtrack names. When the music changes during play, a brief notice shows the song title and its soundtrack in pixel lettering. It fades without blocking gameplay clicks.
  • Contextual Settings help. Help is available for the relevant controls when you need it.
  • Shared leaderboard action replays. Compatible shared records can open action replays, so you can watch how a run was played.
  • Shared pixel artwork. Mac menus and controls now share their artwork with the ongoing iOS work, keeping the original game style consistent across platforms.
  • Better Basher targeting in crowds. "Favor lemmings still approaching" now considers nearby walls and favours lemmings facing into the work. This fixes selection at crowded walls and the top of staircases across Classic, NeoLemmix and both sequels. Classic also updates the hovered target when a lemming turns.
  • Clearer targeting settings. The three targeting preferences now share one outlined group in Gameplay settings.
  • Flat Panel settings behave correctly. Tube Strength and Pixel Width are greyed out for Flat Panel. Monitor and Television enable them again and retain your saved values.
  • Nuke music timing is restored. The funeral slowdown starts at the 2→1 countdown. Screen saturation changes only when rescue becomes impossible. Music returns to normal over 2.4 seconds after the final explosion. This applies to Classic, NeoLemmix and The Tribes. Chronicles has no mass-nuke action.

Ultimate Lemmings 1.9.4 is out!

This update makes rescue celebrations less distracting, fixes saved Golden Path sessions, and adds clearer replay information.

Changes since 1.9.2

  • Calmer rescue celebrations. The golden lemming aura is at least 70% softer, with a very faint golden haze around terrain and scenery. Reduced-motion and reduced-flash settings are respected.
  • No music switch for 100% rescue goals. Levels requiring every lemming show only a brief glow and keep their current track, avoiding a short celebratory music change before the next level. Classic and both sequels share this rule.
  • More control over distractions. Accessibility settings now let you turn off Show song info and Fade Menu button. Song information fades in gently and does not block gameplay clicks.
  • Clearer update alerts. Available compatible updates appear in the home menu, including while an automatic download is underway. Checks run at launch and hourly by default, while retaining your saved update preferences.
  • Less rendering work during fast-forward. Background glow builds off the main thread and uses cached images. Both sequels reuse bitmap pixels, and The Tribes avoids rebuilding unchanged skill-panel images.
  • Golden Path resumes the saved session. Continue finds your saved journey after another solo or Hot Seat session. It restores the saved players and turn, while keeping the departing run saved.
  • Command-Z rewinds one step. Available through the shared Mac gameplay controls.
  • Clearer replays. A compact upper-right panel shows remaining skills and the last three successful skill uses with exact ticks. Chronicles shows held tools and names recorded tool uses.
  • A better Golden Path difficulty order. Time waits for no Lemming and This Corrosion, including their known variants, now sit late in Expert. Identified routes based on engine quirks cannot enter Intermediate. Golden Path now contains 295 lessons.

Just waiting for Apple approval and I'll sent a TestFlight link out. I specifically made iOS a 2.0 milestone because I wanted to NAIL down the full computer experience first and not get caught in the weeds of having to deal with multiple platforms at once. That said I am absolutely THRILLED at how well this game translates to touch devices. I knew it would work on iPad from playing that Cavemen clone back in the day (that sadly went away). But to play this on an iPhone in VERTICAL format and just have it be FUN is amazing to me. It's not only viable, it is a delight! Zooming in and out, the selection mechanics, every little QoL feature I added on top, the soundtracks. I can't wait for you all to try it out!

It has absolutely passed the girlfriend test, even with a wonky UI she was just as keen to Hot Seat on my phone out at her own birthday lunch! What an incredibly timeless game this truly is!

Ultimate Lemmings 1.9.6 is out!

This update focuses on audio, pixel effects, performance and saved sessions. Here is what has changed since 1.9.4.

Audio and effects
  • Smoother music playback. Recorded music now decodes in bounded queues, short loops blend their seams, and peak protection accounts for the effects mix. These changes address playback crackling and rough loop transitions.
  • Rewind sounds like rewind. Music and sound effects scratch backwards through recent audio. Repeated rewinds reuse bounded buffers.
  • Sharper explosions and clearer selection. Bombs scatter pixel debris and use bitmap countdown digits. Selection has a steady white outline and green halo. Dying, exiting and exploding lemmings no longer keep selection or rescue outlines.
  • A short countdown before play. Fresh starts and retries use a 3–2–1 countdown. Modern effects also add brief sprite echoes during rewind.

Performance, saves and journeys
  • Less repeated rendering work. Shared rendering budgets limit added-effects work. Terrain and skill-panel caches avoid converting unchanged bitmaps. Simulation keeps its original tick rate.
  • Shared save and profile code. Profiles, records, recovery, playlists and Hot Seat now use the same core modules across Mac and iOS. Saved runs and handovers wait for the player to be ready.
  • More consistent navigation. Profiles and result pages keep the primary action last in navigation order. Golden Path moves "Let's be careful out there" later in the journey while preserving saved visits and player ownership.

iPhone, iPad and profile sync — work in progress

The next private iOS 2.0 beta build is prepared, with clearer Hot Seat player identity, a more useful pause screen, shared stone controls and the full soundtrack collection. Build 13 has not yet been uploaded to TestFlight. It covers the Classic family and fan packs; Lemmings 2, Lemmings 3 and NeoLemmix are not playable in that build.

Further fixes let matching saved profiles recover their latest progress in testing builds, including Hot Seat progress. Those changes are not in the published 1.9.6 app. Live cross-device sync still needs device verification.

Download and update

Universal Mac app for Apple silicon and Intel, macOS 12.3 or later. Downloads are signed and notarised. The slim download includes essential music, with optional soundtrack libraries available separately. Automatic updates retain the full soundtrack.

The Tribes is Complete. Chronicles and NeoLemmix remain Beta (L3 now has 100% verified routes however!)

Existing users can use Check for Updates. I would welcome feedback on music loops, repeated rewind and saved Hot Seat sessions.
