Favorite? That would be this.
Most of the other stuff I have scanned is quite old. And for stuff I did all in the computer, probably this. Or this.

Neat drawings, Andi :D

In fact, the blue must be red because in the Holiday Lemmings version, they put the blue in red. Try to make a level with the Earth style of Lemmings 1 and replace it by one of the levels of Holiday Lem: The water will be red. The blue will be red.

Also, if you create a level of Holiday Lemmings and you put it in Customized Lemmings (or any other lemmings game): The red will be blue (like above).

Yeah, wasn't that because of the palette? If the pallete of the lemmings only allows black/white/green/blue, swapping blue with red will be the only way to let the lemmings wear red clothes.

Yes it is. The palette isn't the same.

Also, did you see my level: The PEPSI Christmas Tree Factory?

Why PEPSI? Because they invented the Santa Claus and, in that time, the Santa Claus was blue. Really! :)

I would agree with Andi about the tail. When I imagine her, the tail is about half the width and length of the one in the picture, and she also has lemming-paws. Other than that, it rules.

Santa Claus was invented bij Coca Cola, they were inspired bij our Sinterklaas (The Netherlands).

actually...

"Urban legend has it that Santa Claus in his current guise (particularly his red and white attire) was created by Haddon Sundblom, an artist working for The Coca-Cola Company, but this is in fact false; the modern image of Santa Claus was already established in the 1920s, years before Sundblom painted the first Coke-promoting Santa1."

I'm really, really sorry if this message is too long. ;_;  Anyone who frequents the Lemmings Universe forum might recognise this as I posted the exact same thing there. I'm just too lazy to retype everything, so I just copypasted the code in.

Hellu all!  I'm just a passing fan who finally found this place and realized "HEY! The fanbase isn't big enough, it might be a good idea to attempt to get to know some other people who actually know, like, and fanart Lemmings stuff."  I used to have a website filled with my Lemmings fanart, but I had to tear it down after three incidences of people stealing the art off it.  Not that it matters, most of it is outdated, anyway.

Anyway, I figured I might as well share some of my Lemfanart, considering that's what this is for. I don't have many full pictures up anymore because I'd been slacking off, but this is more or less my most recent stuff... However, it will be something of a spam-post, because despite not having the metric TON of old things, I still have quite a bit collected even recently.  I feel a bit out-of-place posting it here because it's in a rather anime-based style.

I'm only posting my characters and official characters (all three of them :P), as a number of my friends also have their own fancharacters, and I'm not sure if they want me posting the arts of them without their permissions right now. I'll also be including short descriptions, because these won't make sense otherwise. They probably still won't, because most of them are based in a very deeply developed 'world' that I made for Lemmings, mainly for a chatroom RPG that's long since died off.
---

Alar  An Egyptian-tribe fancharacter of mine named Alar-anh, though otherwise known as 'Phaerogh' to most of my friends. The weird small picture on the side is actually a set of cybernetic organs that has to do with a roleplay I was in a long while ago. Exactly how it came to be might take too long to explain without sounding overly weird.

Jeri, a Space Lemming with robotic arms who was raised in Beach Tribe territory, giving him an extremely laid back personality. He still has quite a bit of Spacelemming knowledge. His hair is actually green streaked with gold, because he's based off my closest friend from school (who had hair like that, but dark brown instead of green), all the way down to the palm-pilot.

Shadra, a Shadow Lemming that had gotten caught in a rollertrap (think of the kind in Oh No! More Lemmings). A friend of Jeri, above, she got mechanical legs with his help after the incident. Can you tell I'm obsessed with machines? Thought so.  She's based off me as I was at the time. She's always wearing shades because, like the Shadow Lemmings in the old Gamebooks, her eyes are sensitive to light.

While on the tangent of Lemmings based on some RL friends of mine, here are some older comics that I drew regarding a few interactions:
Silliness 1
Silliness 2
Silliness 3
Silliness 4
Joya is Just Another Friend, and Jeri's weird hair in the second one was a throwback to a time when the person he was based on actually had that kind of hair.

Nikki Mex. Another 'friend-based' Lemming that was only added relatively recently. She's some kind of strange amalgamation of Sports Tribe and Outdoor Tribe.

Lomax.  Wow, an official character. Gaspu!  Well, Adventures of Lomax kickstarted my fangirling, so if I draw any official art at all, it's for them. Plus, I'm on somewhat friendly terms with one of the guys who made the game. The "helmet in sword form" refers to...uh... something I boredly did one day. Long story. Long, boring story. :D

Lorock. Another official char, I think the text on the image speaks well enough for itself.

This last set of stuff is linked into my DeviantArt account, which is where I put most of the art that bypasses "simple fanart" into "ludicrously over-dramaticized fangirl dribble." Descriptions for the pics are on the pages themselves.
Hi-Res Fighting-game-style sprite of Lomax
Evil Ed, in the monster form seen as the last boss fight in Adventures of Lomax.
Dragon Knights. Another one of those "really long, boring story" situations.
Ed, again. Probably the single biggest case of Lemming overdramatization in fanart. At least, coming from me.

There's being a fangirl...and then there's being outright psychotic. I think I'm the latter. Oops. :O

It's cool how you were able to envision all these interesting characters out of the basic lemming form.  Your description doesn't really need to make sense, the characters speak for themselves, and I can clearly imagine how one can create many interesting and intricate RPGs out of these characters you've drawn.

Then again, as a thoroughly non-artistic person, I guess I'm easily impressed.  ;)

Here are a few of my recent notepad offerings...

P.E no.1
P.E no.2
P.E no.3
P.E no.4

NOTE: The images are quite large, I might upload smaller versions later

NOTE2: All the levels displayed here have been converted to lemedit/cheapo, I have often changed the names because the notebook ones are ****.

Something I randomly did with my tablet.

And no, I cannot manage to draw them if they aren't from the side or front. [smiley=mikeXD.gif]

Thankyou.  [smiley=laugh.gif]

The best picture of a lemming that I've ever done was a little scribbly one done on a piece of scrap paper with a biro in under a minute. The lemming was stood facing the viewer wtih one paw behind its back and a little smile on its face as if it was trying to hide something. It had character. However, the piece of paper was lost, never to be seen again, and even when I tried to reproduce it with reference, it was never as good as the original...

I'm looking for some lem art that would be good for a poster. Such as original posters or game covers or something along that topic. Collectible art to buy, print, download, get, procure? Does anyone know where I could get any of that stuff?

I love the original lemmings boxart. There's just so much depth to it, and the style is typically British. Just check out the little flying lemmings!

The same can't be said for the SNES/Mega Drive one though...

It's not too bad I guess, just a bit depthless. And since when did they have fingers?

I do have to admit I like the old 'box arts' for the classic games (Lemmings, ONML, Tribes), which goes over into the Lemmings Gamebooks. I've tries to mimic the style, but I just can't, so I'm stuck with my weird pseudo-anime style. &#A0;Bleeh.

And yeah, the Sunsoft SNES Lemmings boxart loses the internet. :[ &#A0;The only Lemmings allowed to have fingers are the evil ones in Adventures of Lomax! &#A0;*is a dork* &#A0;And as much as I like the Lomax game, for some reason, I can't stand its cover-art.

I haven't posted art in here for a bit, but then, I haven't done much Lemmings art, either. &#A0;The only new stuff about since my last batch are this and this (which is a generic Classic Lemming, and Shadra, respectively). &#A0;Yeah, I like to put a big toe on Lemming feet, to match the fact that their hands have thumbs. &#A0;Plus, it lets them wear slippers (or flip-flips, depending on where you live).

Edit: durrrr, I didn't notice that someone posted that first one for me earlier. I R observnt. Pthbbbt.

First, the complimenting other people bit...

Drumnbach -- That's interesting. I like the eyes. ^^
Chmera -- Gah! Everyone can draw snouts better than I! Anyhow, it's still cool...
Daimera -- If I could draw half as well as you I'd be happy. Those are awesome.
Everyone else -- I completely forgot about this topic for months, and now I can't see anything. Whatever.

I've not posted (or scanned) any art in a while, so I guess it's about time. No real order. Most of this is new, but the stuff at the bottom is older stuff I don't believe I've posted before.

Aililemm -- well, a really rough sketch, anyhow.

Random Lemming guy -- his face annoys me. If I ever ran into him, I would want to break it.

Lem'rek, Lem'ka's older brother -- something about this guy annoys me, but I'm not really sure what. He also reminds me of something, but again, I'm not sure what... weird.

Lemkoo, the demon -- don't talk to me about the hair.

Lemming. Looking up -- yeah, pretty boring.

Lemriesk, Lem'ka's nephew -- I'm still working on the whole drawing snouts thing. I've been avoiding it for years. On the off chance any of this will make any sense to you, he's Lem'rek's son (Lem'rek is Lem'ka's much older brother), and he's a half-aerospacial half-subterranean (I've got to come up with a new name; Dunny went beyond derivative -- blame me seven years ago) Lemming. I've never drawn either of those two before, simply because... well... I couldn't. Or, technically, I didn't believe I could pull it off.

Same dude, different angle -- how the heck do you draw a snout from that angle? I've yet to figure it out.

Lemmy with bomb -- the sketch version.

Lemmy with bomb -- the colored version.

Lem'ka from my latest layout -- this ... annoys me now. On many levels. I really need to do a new one.

Just the head of the last one -- colored for an avatar.

And there you have it. The somewhat meager amount of Lemmings art I've done lately.

.....wow  :)  You have a pretty cool talent there! I liked the "lemming with bomb" one especially (if you imagine that it's a human with an interesting hairstyle, she'd even be rather sexy...) but nearly all of them are very good.

I'll have to see what Daimera's are like if they're really as awesome as you say, but sadly the links don't seem to work  :-/

This is the kind of thing that happens when I have way too much free time...

Stuff like this DevID.

If you can't tell, it's Ch'mera in normal lemming form(no wings or tail). I drew her face from a direction that's not the side! YAY FOR ME!

As for the mis-fitting shirt, she's been begging food from the people at #hrwiki and they've been generous. Very generous. Is that a good thing or a bad thing? Your choice...
