Probably because selling the exact same game with different graphics and levels is not a good thing to do on game consoles. Remember, game paks/cartridges cost a helluvalot more than floppy disk or compact disc.

In the Genesis/Mega Drive version, some of the Oh No! levels were remade using the original styles.
This Lemmings forum is simply *fabulous*!

I agree as well, and I was about to say "How do you know Giga's Age?" until I looked at his profile recently. Bear in mind that namida said this to me in the stupid question, stupid answer thread, and I'm not interested in sex. I'm keeping an eye on your posts, namida. Just be careful now what you say.

Anyway, back on topic. I have a feeling that these Replacement-for-genesis levels would be a perfect fit for some long OhNo levels. I'm sure of that.

Well i was thinking for genesis and snes onmlemmings SUNSOFT and present rating
SUPER-for sunsoft
Master-for present

I can guess a number of possible reasons:

- the SNES/Genesis version of Lemmings may not have generated enough sales to warrant effort on what's effectively a sort of "expansion pack" of 100 levels with pretty much the exact same gameplay; especially

- they know that Lemmings 2 is in the works

The size of the levels in the Genesis version of Lemmings was much smaller because of technical limitations, and the levels which required more terrain than the Genesis could handle had to be replaced. The majority of the levels in ONML were too big and the Genesis wouldn't have been able to use them.
