So how about it?
I sometimes play it against my brother. But I can't remember I have ever won against him. =P
I'm happy to challenge you, Conway!
Um, are any for Mac?
Okay Ahribar, you're on!

I've just noticed, you'll checkmate me in 4 moves max! I guess you're the winner.
Congratulations Ahribar!
Thank you! :D And thanks for the game, I enjoyed it.
I guess I'm just out of practice! :-(
me next!
I assume you mean with Ahribar . . .
I'm willing, but I thought he meant with you? In any case it's your thread, so go for it!
Either of you.
OK then!
e2 - e4
I thought Ahribar naturally as he won the last game. Then, if he's willing, somebody can play against the winner of this game, and so on, like a tournament. Sound good?
I'll join!
g8 - f6
Sorry, but Timbalisto is already playing black.
I would've done the same move as he did I guess...
g8-f6
We could start multiple topics so we could hold multiple chess games at one time, or we could assign numbers to each game, for example, I would put at the top of my posts GAME 1. When a new game starts, the players would announce it and assign themselves a number.
That's a good idea. I guess drumnbach ought to challenge Conway?

You guys should look into some sort of online chess program.
Never any harm in boosting one's postcount, is there? :D

This has become an interesting/weird game.
It certainly has...........
0-0
wait...which side? Q or K?
0-0 always means castles K-side, Q-side is written 0-0-0. The 0s represent the empty spaces between the king and the rook, you see. :D

You reply very quickly.
Question-I forget how it looks when you Q side castle. is it:
R on d and K on c?
-or-
R on c and king on b?
Anyhow-
Bf8-h6
It's king on c1/c8 and rook on d1/d8. Incidentally, queenside castling is still legal even if b1/b8 is attacked (though the other two squares can't be).
