I'm going to try a bit of an interesting Poker stream at some point, somewhat inspired by an idea I saw xflixx (one of the Team PokerStars players) doing on his channel. I don't know how well this will work, as streaming isn't the most reliable for me, but at any rate I'll also be recording it to upload later. If for any reason streaming fails, I'll still upload a recorded video of this.
Basically, I'll be playing
Spin n Go games I'll be setting aside either $5 or $10 (haven't decided yet) specifically for this stream; if I go with $5 I'll start at the $1 games; if I go with $10 I'll start at the $3 games. If I lose a game (and am not already at the lowest stakes), I'll move down in stakes. If I win a game (and my for-stream balance is at least three times the next stake up), I'll move up in stakes. The stream ends when I either go bust, win a game at the top stakes, or decide it's been going on for too long.
Even in a case where I don't win a single game, the structure ensures the stream would have at least 17 games (on a $5 balance) or 26 games (on a $10 balance). In practice, I'm not
that bad at Spin n Gos; but also probably not good enough to end up making it to, let alone winning, a $100 buyin game, so most likely it'll be the "it's been going for too long" condition that ends the stream.
I haven't got an exact time yet, apart from "probably later today sometime". Could be in 10 minutes, could be in a few hours. Not guaranteed it will happen today, for that matter. (Yeah, I know this is bad practice with streams, but I'm just not the kind who can plan ahead like that.) If you're interested, keep an eye out for a Youtube notification that I've started livestreaming. Alternatively, keep an eye on the chat in #neolemmix, as I'll mention there when I'm about to start. Please note that I probably won't be keeping an eye on the chat feed while streaming, since running a browser while recording (and presumably also while streaming) tends to result in lag on the recording for me, and I don't know if I can be bothered setting up a second device to watch the chat with. And of course, just on the offchance that someone watching the stream ends up as one of my opponents, it'll be somewhat time-delayed.
EDIT: Gonna start it in a few minutes.
EDIT: The stream's over now. Uploaded a recording of it here, possibly a bit less laggy than the replay of the stream itself:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vimdXXXQ_VsI'd also like to point out that I've recently added ads to the Poker and Final Fantasy X videos on my channel. However, I have no intention to add these to my Lemmings videos, so if you see one there, it's either a mistake, or entirely Youtube's doing.
