Which is your longtest custom level what you maded or completed or see?

I am watch many youtube videos and play many packs.

I think i have my personal record. My final Level Custom 3+ have 25 minutes time limit. Its take me 23 minutes and Armani did it much faster, but still some avarage 20 minutes. Luckily this level is quite easy. Its migt take much less progress than my levels where is 45 secons time limit.

Other longs levels. Crane Pack Chaos 30 bronxe talisman take me over 12 minutes. How ever gold talimsan under 3 minutes.

How ever im not never are see 25 minutes custom levels expect my own. How ever its extrmely genius and very graphical level. Alos i got pefect idea. I´ll say its my one greates levels visual.

Is anyone make even longer levels`?

Way back in the Cheapo days I had a topic for level records, and two levels stood out for being huge, sprawling levels that took a long time to complete:

"Absolute Ultimate Challenge" by namida, time limit 37:45, my best completion was about 25:00
"The long trek to freedom" by Adam, time limit 39:00, my best completion was about 32:30

God Save The Queen clocks in at 9 minutes, that's probably my longest in terms of how long the level actually takes to complete (as opposed to how long the level provides to complete it, I'm sure I have ones with longer time limits somewhere...)

A while ago I started a level with the goal of it taking more than 1 hour IGT to complete, but without being completely trivial. I'll post it here when I eventually get around to finishing it.


Meanwhile, I had a look at your 25-minute level and the version I have (1.04b) is impossible to complete due to a hidden trap near the exit which spans the full height of the level. Thankfully I spotted it before I started trying to solve the level!

The level from the Cheapo days that immediately springs to mind (without being huge) is Insane Steve's "Tribute to Benny Hill". I don't remember if it had a 29:59 or 59:59 time limit, but the time limit was meant to serve as a hint. I just had a look at the Lix remake, and the intended solution takes about 20 min.

Long time ago I posted an idea on how to make levels where the time needed to solve is exponential in the level size (see last two paragraphs here). I made a Lix version (which I haven't released yet) that takes about 10 minutes to solve, but if I wanted I could make minor tweaks so it takes 100, 1000 or 10000 minutes (or really however long I want). It's not even huge, and only uses a single skill.

The Neolemmix version had a 30 min timer.  Was in the Circus tile set. and here is the replay (shows done in 16:15.88)

Use enlight tool you can see here is much more hidden traps too. This make this level so huge. You have to run Zombie around leves disarmed those hidden traps. You dont want notice this when you make a lot progress. This level is painfully long.

The longest level that I have created, is a Level for Lemmix (which I have posted it on the "Lemmix Level Pack Topic") . It is called "The squares fight back (part 2) , it has a time limit of 20 minutes , and it's intended solution, is close to 17 minutes.

The longest levels that I have created for Neolemmix, are "Airborne Rodents" , which has an intended solution, that is close to 13 minutes, and "Cyberlems 2555 - Part 2" , which has an intended solution, that is around 12 minutes. Both levels , can be found in my pack , called "Mikes Lemmings Version 2".

The longest level , that I have solved is a level for Neolemmix by nin10doadict , called "By popular demand" , and my solution for that level , was close to 20 minutes. That level , can be found on the Casualemmings 2.0 pack.

Mine is definitely “The Grand Puzzle”, the last level from Lemmings World Tour. Most solutions clock in at around 13-14 minutes.

Also, at a width of 4000 pixels, it’s definitely the “longest” / “widest” level ever made.

Use enlight tool you can see here is much more hidden traps too.

Now I finally have the confirmation that what you mean when you say “enlighten” is clear-physics mode .

From the outset, it looked like my kinda level, but then I realised it provides unusable Bombers (grr!) and, although there are clearly paths that don't require lots of Builders, there are still too few Builders (by my standards) for a level of that size, so I haven't got a solution yet. It's an awesome-looking level with an intriguing concept though, so I'll come back and have another look when I have a bit more time

Then you'll likely face a similar struggle with the level whose style Strato was trying to imitate with it, which is Nepster's "Final Frustration," the final level in NepsterLems Both with the exact same skillset of 20-of-everything in the classic 8. Nepster's level is much harder IMO, while Strato's level is more stressful rather than hard due to how there are several entrances that are in danger at the very start, but once you succeed in containing them all at the start in the first 30 seconds or so in the most efficient manner, then you can take it slow and easy for the rest of the level

Keep at it, though. I know you'll get it solved eventually!

Finally maded intented final level my new progress pack. Its 2nd longest level i ever made. Time limit 20 minutes and completion take me 17 minutes 59 seconds.

This level got also pretty nice/unique theme. No repair zombies with this time. This is also quite hard with long level. Its surely harder than my longest level my custom +3. There is quite nasty skills limit, but avoid too much frustration i let some errors frees. Its really hard working level. And if you count some skills wrong you usually have to reback level entire again. So this level could be easily take few hours to completed. Its take me over 8 hours to build.

My current progress pack contains too much short levels (1-3 minutes avarage). At this point there is at least 2 long levels and few quite long levels. New pack contains more trick theme. Added sharp elements is not are possible long levels. Like always most 1-3 minutes levels is more frustrating than those long levels.

One 1 minute level in Step 5 is freaking frustrating. At least when i got find backroutes and have to break my replay and play this over again with new setup. I´ll hope i finally got find backroute free setups. I´ll always spend about one hour to find those sharp elements again.

My current progress pack has some really sharph elements at least Step 5. Those levels are luckily short, but very frustratings. One example is speedbuilding level. There is many very hard timings, but most worst are frame perfect timing at end. Yeah its frame perfect. Its technically was impossible make level with that precise, but i got figured trick where its forced use that setup. Armani break it few times, but finally got build it perfectly.

This pack definitely will got place EXTREME category. Even more than custom +3. Its might TOP 3-4 hardest pack in lemming forum. Ichotolot, Armani & Crane pack are maybe another TOP hardest packs.

BTW Is there video world longest lemmings levels (That 37 minutes level) Its might interest see which system this level haved? Im not goes build that long level. Those lenght make levels pretty lame. But thats interested me to see which look 37 minutes level?? I cannot even imagine?

My Current longest levels
1: Custom +3 Step 5 level 30 Jailbreak alcatraz (time limit 25 minutes) avarage completion 23- minutes below
2: Final level my progress pack Hostages in fire camp (time limit 20 minutes) avarage completion 18 minutes)
3: Great Colosseum (Custom +3) Step 4 level 25 (Time limit 15 minutes avarage completion) 12 minutes
4: Red Sun Rise (Custom +3) Step 5 level 27 (time limit 15 minutes) Gold talisman is 10 minutes and its very sharph)
5: Confuse Loops my new progress pack (time limit 15 minutes) avarage completion 11 minutes. How ever speedrun completion could be done 7 minutes. Maybe even under. But this level take a lot plan, so im not set time limit very hard.
6: Divide et Impera (final level custom +2) Timelimit 10 minutes and its quite sharph one.

I am not aware of any video recording of the 37-minute Cheapo level, and a quick Youtube search doesn't turn up anything. This is not surprising, though. Cheapo was current around the time of my visit to Australia (I remember this because I worked on Cheapo graphics while I was there) -- and that was in the same year that Youtube started. It would be a long time before I had a computer setup capable of recording gameplay at a decent frame rate, and by then, Cheapo was long dead.
