Hello, I am new here, im insulfrog and I am a big lemmings fan.  I had been playing lemmings since the Amiga 500+ back in 1990.  I have my own website, which is www.freewebs.com/insulfrog and I am a bit of a computer wizz too. :)

I would appreciate any help on this matter. I played (was addicted to) Lemmings years ago on Windows 95. Today I have a new HP sytem with Vista. If I dig up my disk in storage from years ago, will it play on Vista? If not, is there a current computer game version for sale that is Vista compatible? Please advise so I may enjoy Lemmings again. ThANKS!

I'm not quite new here but I've been gone for so long that I might as well be. This place seems to have changed quite a bit. Not for the worse, maybe a tad for the better, but I'd mostly say it's a lateral shift. A necessary one too, it would seem. I can't really play Lemmings much anymore due to lack of access to lemmings-compatible computers  :'( :o, which is unfortunate, but I think I can still play on one of them... Assuming it still works.

fffFFFFFF;;; Hello again!

The name's G3K, those of you who have been around since the days of Lemmings Universe may remember me as the wild-haired Scot that (barely) moderated the General board there. I've decided to make a comeback, both to see old friends once again and to, with any luck, get back into the scene as it were.

I see a few names I recognise, and a few that I don't - I'm glad you folks have been keeping the spirit alive at least!

Thanks Chmera, and hey Mr. K! Moving up in the world I see, from newbie to the metaphorical king of the Lemmings community itself. :P Ach, if only I could remember more of that place. I'm sure most of the folks here whose names I don't recognise had a bit of a stint there as well.

Yeah.  I've certainly moved up.  The old Lemmings Forums server was wonky at the time so I volunteered to set this up for those who were having trouble.  Eventually it all moved here.

I'd link you back to the old LUDB archives, but it seems that they finally fell off the internet  :(
They were still in the same location as the forum was (although they were uninhabited except for spambots using the rather old version of the forum software to their advantage) until at least the past summer, but since then they've finally passed on.  Oh well.

I believe there have been a few name changes, but a lot of the old folk are still around.

I've been here for about a week now (I see some of you have already played my level pack).

I was introduced to the wonders of lemmings back in '95, or thereabouts, when my dad got me the original Lemmings game for DOS. I have been on and off the game ever since, mostly since I didn't have a PC with the game in between times. I never finished the game until I got the Windows version a few years ago, and even then I did some levels by... "interesting" methods (OK, I cheated, but it's not my fault they let them walk off the top of the screen!)

Good to see the game is still alive and well. This site looks great! 8)

I'm back after another long hiatus!

I was a semi-regular poster back on the old forums, but I've become very busy with college over the past couple of years, and have not had much time at all to play Lemmings.  Hopefully this will change in the next few months, as I am preparing to graduate in a few weeks.

It's great to be back!

Hey,

I'm Oli, 21 years old from Manchester, England. I've been playing Lemmings since the good 'ol days of '92 onwards and have only recently stumbled across this forum! I'm not a hardcore programmer of lemmings but I like making the odd level and playing it.

I enjoy playing lemmings but I also enjoy doodling them and listening to the music from it (and other amiga games), alongside "real" music or various types (prefer Rock / Punk / Ska but I listen to everything!)...

Hopefully will get to know you all well soon!

Hello everybody,I only have had lemmings for a few months but I am seriously addicted to it!since I didn't grow up in the 80's/90's the first lemmings game I saw was lemmings family on sky gamestar and only did level 1  when I was about seven and a few months ago I saw something about lemmings and it made me really want to play lemmings ,and by some sort of miracle God made ,I found lemmings for windows in game and after a week of trying to tell my parents that it is a puzzle game and is not  violent, they finally bought it for me and now I have the version for my sega game gear.
