Welcome to the forum lemkeev20.
You're teasing people here with psychopatic difficulty levels. I'm a bit scared for now (and playing some other levels), but I'm sure high skill players around here will post solutions soon (I'm teasing them too ;))

Save One level pack : do you have what it takes to save one Lemming ?
16 levels of medium-hard difficulty.

Hey there lemmkeev. I feel like trying your level one of these days because you seem to have created many of them.
I remember your posted some other ones in another part of the forum when you first suscribed. Can you post them here too so that we have all of them at the same place ?

I solved 16 levels by lemmkeev20 that I found here and there on the forum.
There are at least 2 more of them out there but I missed some style pieces to play them (the big one, there's two doors now ?)

They were nice little levels overall, with varied settings and not so varied solutions. Very low difficulty perfect for a relaxing lemmings time ! I often have many skills left and save more than requirement.

Keep up the work with level designing lemmkeev, and maybe post them in a more orderly fashion on the forum ;)

FWIW, I agree with Silken here, we should probably merge the level topics as it's clear that the levels are supposed to be grouped together. Edit Simon: Yep! Done!

@lemmkeev Check out Level Pack creation tools, there are some useful .bat scripts that can help you to compile your levels into a pack, as and when you're ready to take that step with your levels. People are more likely to get around to playing your levels if they're presented as a pack, or - at the very least - all together in a single topic.

Here are some replays for the levels you have shared in this topic and the one linked above. Have fun and keep creating!

As I mentioned in the "so you actually made it here huh?" thread, given Namida's rules and his own statements, you making a new thread for a "X-tralems" level pack alongside the "so you actually made it here huh?" standalone level before Namida told you the rule and that it wouldn't be retroactively applied by himself (unless another mod wanted to merge them) and/or de-facto "lemmkeev20's one-off levels" thread, is only "ok" if they aren't, and I quote, "those that nominally slap a 'pack' name onto it while still just being another unorganised random level dump in practice," (which given the fact that "psychopathic difficulty" pack fits that definition, and I'm sure I recall another thread which fit that definition which seems to be deleted now, and Namida felt it necessary to edit his message to include that, I highly doubt your going to do a complete 180° on).

Edit: This information might be wrong actually as it seems Simon is merging some posts into this thread, and why would he do that if this thread isn't allowed

Quote from: lemmkeev20 on September 26, 2026, 11:25:33 PMlevels for X-tralems ok?

All right, you're going to post your levels into here as they come out. That's good.

I'll give lemmkeev20 the benefit of the doubt here, and move/reinstantiate all the random levels into here.

Ok yeah you can make this thread a "lemmkeev20's one-off levels/nominal packs" thread if you want and archive the other thread or something, up to you, doesn't really matter what thread it is. These are all the remaining levels:

I was just trying to help you by clearing up the site rules to you. Anyway if you continue following the rules (i.e. posting nominal packs/one-off levels in here, and then making a new topic if you actually decide to make a non-"those that nominally slap a 'pack' name onto it while still just being another unorganised random level dump in practice" pack one day) there shouldn't be any more need to discuss it.

Quote from: lemmkeev20 on September 27, 2026, 12:56:54 AMi already made the topic for my levels!
Oh? Was this topic meant to be a lemmkeev20's one-off levels pack not a topic for a level pack called "X-tralems." In that case my initial advice might have been wrong if it was on the basis of that. If that was what you meant, then my advice at the time would have been "I think Namida wants you to keep on using the 'so you actually made it here huh?' thread," but now Simon has already designated this thread as a lemmkeev20's one-off levels/nominal packs, it doesn't matter now anyway

Should this thread be renamed to "lemmkeev20's one-off levels/nominal packs"?

Also why is this thread and https://www.lemmingsforums.net/index.php?topic=7593.0 in "In Development" and not "NeoLemmix Levels"

Silken Healer

  • Don't remove this topic
  • Post any more one-off levels and/or "those that nominally slap a 'pack' name onto it while still just being another unorganised random level dump in practice" packs in here
  • Make a new topic for any non-"those that nominally slap a 'pack' name onto it while still just being another unorganised random level dump in practice" packs

Pretty simple rules

i dont use to commonly the oh no styles but i use them

i just want your smart and silly tips

in the meantime, i tried making a really good brick style level

however it needs a custom backround :-[  (which you can download in the post you are now)

download the backround then put it in the backrounds folder of the "special" style folder and done

Looks like the attachments accidentally got removed from that post while I was merging it into this one. You'll need to re-add them.

And for the last time, stop creating new topics for one or two levels. The fact that you have - within just a few weeks on this site - already built up a reputation for creating topics solely to share one or two levels, means you will not be given any benefit of the doubt when it comes to topics that appear to be trying to find loopholes to continue doing this. If you are genuinely struggling to understand the rules (and the intent behind them), as opposed to just looking for loopholes, then perhaps the best idea would be to treat this topic as the only place you share your levels.
My projects
2D Lemmings: NeoLemmix (engine) | Lemmings Plus Series (level packs) | Doomsday Lemmings (level pack)
3D Lemmings: Loap (engine) | L3DEdit (level / graphics editor) | L3DUtils (replay / etc utility) | Lemmings Plus 3D (level pack)
Non-Lemmings: Commander Keen: Galaxy Reimagined (a Commander Keen fangame)

Wasn't the second-latest post here in a "level design" board with a level attached to it? I think that's fair enough honestly to show a level to demonstrate your level design princples or whatever? I don't think he was trying to loophole tbh. I feel like it only probably got moved because of his reputation it seemed like he was trying to loophole.

Don't mean to minimod, feel free to tell me it's none of my business, but may I suggest that you/we all not give him hard time about this and/or no punitive action gets taken e.g. forum warnings unless it gets really bad? I think English could possibly not be his 1st language, he seens to get upset when him breaking the rules get pointed out, I don't think he's deliberately trying to break the rules, and it's pretty harmless in the grand scheme of things to just move the level to the right place. But again feel free to say it's none of my buisness and to stay out of it

The reason for the rules has been explained. Multiple times we have attempted to explain to lemmkeev what is and isn't appropriate, only for him to go and create a topic that ignores the spirit of everything said in favor of looking for some "exact words" technicality or cover story to continue posting new topics for a small number of levels. Whether this is an intentional attempt to exploit loopholes, or a genuine failure to understand, setting an explicit "post your levels in this topic only" guideline avoids any further issues.

I am sure you can understand the idea that sometimes if people are struggling to understand general rules, they may need bespoke ones specifically tailored to them, which in some cases may be a bit stricter in order to reduce the risk of misunderstandings and/or reduce the need for judgement calls that someone is struggling to make correctly.

And with this said, that's where I'm drawing the line on discussing this issue with people who are not involved in it. Going forward I will only discuss lemmkeev's individual situation further with other site staff, or with lemmkeev himself. Unless a need arises to make a public post directed at lemmkeev on this subject again, it's time for this topic to go back to its original purpose: for leemkeev to share his levels, rather than to discuss the standards of the NeoLemmix Levels board and its subforums and enforcement thereof.

yeah like... i tought posting levels with fan-made required styles on the styles topic wasn't  a problem :forehead:

anyways...

ill follow the rules and i hope i dont get another warning (beacuse im too scared of getting banned :-[ )

lemmkeev20

anyways...

here is a level made using backround made by me

(note that it also requires a custom backround which il post later cuz i'm REALLY nervous of getting banned and i dont want to get banned :( )

Uploading backgrounds for your levels in this topic is fine. That being said - (this part is advisory, not a rule) make sure you tell people where to put them (ie: what style name they should be under), as a loose file doesn't carry that information on its own, and I expect most people won't bother if they have to look into the level file to figure out where to put the background.
