Don't bother with AmigaRemix, just download the Lemmings Protracker Modules. That's the original Amiga music. (Although something doesn't seem right with the percussion in lemming2.mod...)

If I'd meant for you to go to the AmigaRemix site, I'd have posted that link directly.

I'll be surprised if there's something wrong with the drum sample ... ccexplore normally notices when I make that kind of mistake.

Well I don't remember if I went through every music, and it's been a while.  I'll have listen later tonight when I'm back home.

Admittedly I haven't had an opportunity to play the actual Amiga version of Lemmings. However, comparing that mod to various other versions of the tune with the similar arrangements (Windows, Dos, PS1... even the Classic music from Lemmings 2) it becomes clear that the Amiga mod version differs... In an early part of the tune, on a rhythm where the other versions have percussion, the Amiga mod uses a non-percussive sample. Same beat, same timing... vastly different sound.

Taking a closer look, while the only percussive sample included is in the second slot, the note patterns appear to be also trying to use the fifth sample in a percussive manner.

Ah, it was that music.  I assume it was intentional based on hearing the same thing in a copy of Amiga Lemmings, and also on the Lemmings Jukebox.  In fact, when Mindless first ripped this music he had used a more normal percussion sound, and I made him "correct" it to the versions I hear in the game and on the Jukebox.  I believe Mindless also checked the IPF copy of Amiga Lemmings and heard the same thing.

One interesting thing to check would be whether later Amiga releases (eg. the "budget" version?) change the instrument back to a normal percussion sound or not.
