[BUG] Styles appearing incorrectly in Editor
« on: April 30, 2023, 12:28:08 PM »
Very fun pack!

Thanks! :)

It's now ready! Please feel free to use the Lemmina Croft sprites if you wish; they should now work, unless I've missed something.

I love the update! But the sprites don't work yet. The game falls back to the original sprites when I try to use them.

Edit: After updating the styles I can't find willem_lemminas_laracroft in the editor anymore. Instead there's two willem_lemminas_monochrome that are the same.

Ah yes, I see what I did wrong. I've now updated the styles download so it contains the corrected copy, plus a couple of other fixes. Apologies for the large download again... I could really do with getting the online style manager back up and running at some point!

I still get two willem_lemminas_monochrome in the editor. When I remove one, the other becomes the Lemmina Croft sprites. ???

I can't reproduce this as of the latest update. Can you confirm that you're using the following:

Version 2.0.2 of SuperLemmix (check above the scroller on the main menu in SuperLemmix for the version info)
Version 2.0.1 of the styles (check SuperLemmix/styles/README for version info)
Version 2.0 of Editor (head to Options > About in the Editor to check the version number)

Make sure that SuperLemmix 2.0.2 is installed to its own folder, and then copy the styles into that directory.

Glad to know

I could do with re-introducing the styles manager, really.

Until then, I think I might just pack the styles with the main download to save hassle. Yes, it means a bigger download file, but it's a few extra seconds of download time vs. having to faff about with 2 zip files, which has already proven to cause problems.

I'll consider this topic fixed, then. I'll try to make the installation process easier in future, but for now, if you're having problems with the styles (or any levels/replays, or the mass replay checker), try this:

1) Do a fresh install of SuperLemmix 2.0.2 (i.e. into its own directory, not overwriting an old one)
2) Check that you have version 2.0.1 of the styles (look in styles > README)
3) Paste a fresh copy of the styles folder into the new SuperLemmix directory (it's OK to choose either "skip" or "replace" when prompted)
