Tomb Rodents

- For SuperLemmix 2.5 or higher
- 5 levels in which you have to rescue only 1 lemming
- Difficulty: for everyone! (who likes a challenge )

Heh, I was eventually going to do this same thing for Lemminas III, but you probably did a better job than I would have with the levels

You might as well use the Lemmina Croft sprites I made, attached

I'm sorry WillLem, I had no idea!

It's just that I've been playing the classic Tomb Raider games for the first time recently after watching darkshoxx's videos on it. (darkshoxx organized the waste my time level contest.) This in combination with your SuperLemmix gave me the idea for this.

Those sprites look great!

Edit: But I can't get them to work. I guess a newer (not yet released) version of SuperLemmix is required?

Thanks! I fixed two backroutes you found (level 2 and level 5) in V1.2 (see first post). Your other solutions are perfectly fine.

Haha don't worry. I think Strato came up with the idea for Lara Croft recolourings all the way back when Lemminas were first introduced, so it's not as if it would have been totally my idea anyway. And like I said, your levels likely do the idea way more justice than mine would!

That said, maybe we can collab on a Lara Croft themed pack? I've always wanted to do a collaboration pack, maybe this could be something we work on together? No worries if not, just a thought.

Ah yes, the Looker and Dangler will be introduced in the 2.0 update (coming soon!) and then the sprites should work.

A collab is a fun idea. Maybe even make it a project for everyone who wants to join. Each one can make a rank of 5 levels like I did, or something like that.

V2.0 contains the Lara Croft sprites. (From the second level onwards. In the first level you meet Lemmina Croft in her casual outfit. )

V3.0 of this mini-pack is compatible with the latest SuperLemmix versions that have drastically changed the behavior of zombies, weapons and buttons.

I've been playing this occasionally for a bit now. While it is very fun, I find it a bit more difficult than "for everyone". Unless this is just me being dumb or not adjusted to the new skills or engine yet. Any hints on the levels would be appreciated! I only beat the first level so far.

Thanks for the feedback mobius! "For everyone" might be a bit misleading so I added "who likes a challenge ".

Also, there's no difficulty curve apart from the introduction level. The large level 2 might even be the most difficult level of the 5. (3, 4 and 5 are smaller but less open ended.)

Some hints:

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

- You can use (infinite, for most levels) walkers and jumpers to avoid zombies
- You don't need to kill zombies with a weapon, you can also let them splat or drown etc.
- You can jump on top of a spear thrown in terrain or shimmy under it
- You can use a grenade to create a hole from where you can mine or fence
