I just thought of something. Why is there no link from the main page of this site to Mindless' levelpack database? Most of our levelpacks are on his site but not this one. There are links to the database from an earlier post in this topic, as well as the topic that Mindless created about it, but neither of these are greatly accessible or obvious to people who visit this site.

MASTER-88 - You could find the Dos versions of these levels and edit them in Lemmix. They sound quite interesting and challenging. I would try them on Lemmix now but I don't know if the level layout is different than on the SNES version (which could affect the solution or cause backroutes).

A quick update from me:
I have made three more levels (that's levels, not levelpacks :-\) since I finished my second pack (has anyone actually played this? I haven't heard from anyone...) Civ 4 takes up most of my free time nowadays  :(

It is hard say difference between SNES-DOS. I never playing DOS versio.

I just think DOS versio level desing is most pretty identical as Snes. But yeah there can be some versio difference.

If you are interested make my levels you can try. I will only hope it working.

I had a glance at it before, but now I actually played through it. As for the solutions, I'll send you the link to them via PM in a few minutes.
I solved the sixth and especially the fourth level in a cheap way, other than that no obvious backroutes. Quite liked the A.T. concept (even though I already had thought of that as well). My favourite one is "About Face!" though, at first glance it look impossible until you get the idea. Pretty elegant implementation of it.

MASTER-88 - I tried your level ideas in Lemmix:

1 - I did this one without using the climber, bomber or digger. This might only be possible due to a version difference (does the SNES version require 2 builders to get across that gap?).

2 - I like this idea. Timing bombers is bothersome though (that could be a good thing, I don't know). All skills used, but I think the time limit is somewhat generous.

3 - Took me a while to figure out how to use the miners here. All skills used. This solution was similar to the way I normally do this level anyway.

Good ideas on the whole, but not too difficult. This may not be the case on SNES though.
Keep 'em coming if you like. I'll play them

1
You need 1 builder across gap on SNES.
But i don,t understand how you can completed that W/O using climber, bomber or digger. I need use every items. Remember 75% releaserate it is pretty fast. You need lock your lemmings using digger and basher. There is last pillar. You need break this using climber, miner & bomber. But nice job man.

2
Yeah time limit is big in this level. And you can save 96% too. My orginal limit was 95%.

3
This puzzle was cool. I remember i put one more item in this level, but this not make level any easier IMO. Time limit is as well good enought.

Thanks for playing. Hopefully you recorded these levels in youtube. I can check out my desings.

I'm not on Youtube. There are other ways of sharing level solutions though (sorry, I realise this may be inconvenient):

- Lemmix replays. This is how most people on this forum (I think) send level solutions. To view them you need to download Lemmix (if you don't have it already) and also you need a copy of the level file itself - I could send you this though. It's probably a good idea to download Lemmix anyway - it is great for making your own levels.

- AVI file recorded in Dosbox. To view these you need a media player that supports this file format. They mostly seem to play these files with audio but no video though - I've heard there are ways around this, but honestly I haven't been able to get it working. If anyone knows how I could get this to go, that would be great  ;)

- I could just tell you how I solved the levels (via PM of course so as to avoid spoiling it for everyone else  :P)

I notice some people on the new UK forum put their levels up on Youtube though. Maybe this could be worth discussing?

Yeah you can send me PM and tell how you compelted my levels. Especially first one. This might be different method than my. I belive there is some versio difference because you said: *I did this one without using the climber, bomber or digger*

You can register on youtube. This is easy job, choose accounts and register. I always check interesting custom levels here. It is just interesting see own desings in internet.

Some reasons AVI file videos doesn,t work on my computer. Flashplayer is just best and fastest way.

Is Tricky 28 "Exit in the ground" the same as "Lost Something?" from the Dos version? Can someone who has both the Dos and SNES versions confirm this? From the name it sounds like the same thing but I want to be sure of this.

There is my every snes remake level boards. I promise most my levels like Mayhem-sunsoft difficults. Of course there is easier levels too. For example Custom 8 is very easy IMO. Level 4,5 and 10 are much harder. You need lot patience these levels.

Oh and i use boards here:

Just wondering, what are those blobs like under the rock in your first level supposed to be? I guess terrain?
Also, one level requires 100/60 lemmings to be saved, that 167%. ;)
Other than that, I guess I'll give them a try sometime.

@BulletRide: I solved your second version of 'Fall Guy' with one spare builder, check your mail. Abused the same glitch as before though, but how close am I with the left part? Looks like it might be close to the intended solution.

I had a go at these levels. Very challenging indeed. I couldn't solve 4 and 10 though  :'(

I have no idea how to do level 4 - it seems totally impossible. I'm sure there is a way to do this but I'll leave it for now.
I can get 28/50 (56%) on level 10, but no more. The rest just get squished  :(
