When a moderator deletes or renames a thread, it might be a good idea to make a note of it here so that anyone looking for that thread can know if it still exists.

Well, there's only one reason why a topic would be deleted - SPAM! If it started out as a useful and/or interesting thread, and then turned into spam of a flaming war later on, it would be better just locked or the useless comments deleted. But if a thread has been deleted, it's probably not worth restarting. Sure you're allowed, but it still has to follow the same rules as its predecessor.

Only if they're pointless. If they started out useful and turned into a spamming or flaming zone, then they can just be locked and still available for reading.

-No fuckin swearing
-No offensive language(ie: Japanese)


Not ones like what most people were posting.

The latest news is only a topic where I post major changes on the forum. Please don't delete it. As for the other topics: I don't know why you want to delete them. the moved one ok, but the others? It's sometimes fun to read the old stuff. I used to do this in LUDB very often.

Andi, another topic you can delete is the moved topic in Off-Topic Discussion. You know, the one that says "Moved" at the beginning.

In Green Wing (which is superb if you haven't seen it) one of the characters gets really angry at another and starts screaming in his face; she said things like f*** and s*** over and over but when she said c*** it was beeped out.
