Havoc level 12 - It's all a matter of timing
« on: November 16, 2019, 04:53:16 PM »
Hi,
I can not complete this level, however looking at all the u.tube playbacks, they show the 4th lemming coming out of the middle door and not the bottom one.

When I run the game the lemmings exit from bottom/middle/top/bottom/middle/top and so on.

The u.tube playbacks go bottom/middle/top/middle ?

I'm running Lemmings 95 on Windows 10. Could it be a software glitch

Any help appreciated

I have the same order as you (bottom/middle/top/bottom/middle/top and so on) in Winlemm 95. I remember it being very tricky for me since for me the game has one frame delayed assignments. But it was solvable for me. The pause feature helped me since you can make one assignment while pause which will be carried out when unpause.

What is your particular problem to solve it?

Original (Amiga) Lemmings and ONML have ABCB order in all 3-hatch levels, such as Triple Trouble and this one. Not sure whether this was due to a mistake somewhere or intentional. On this level, "fixing" the order does change the solution, but both versions are solvable.

My problem is that I always seem to be short of one builder when I get up into the top right hand side.

I use the pause feature all the time.

But, you have confirmed that it is possible, so I just need to stick at it.

Thankyou for your replies...

Keep going with it gerrymcd, I'm sure you'll find a solution! WinLemm can be a very tough engine to play the original levels on generally, but it's worth the challenge.

Welcome to the forum gerrymcd :)

I used to think the level (save me) on the atari st seemed a lot harder than the winlemm one time wise, I guess I'll have to check that one at some point.
