mobius' videos/streams
« on: November 04, 2016, 02:24:12 AM »
Turns out my last post in the "Lems on youtube" page won't work--I'll be away from most of the afternoon on Saturday. So I may not have an opportunity this weekend. Does Sunday morning work for anybody? (Probably not, but I ask just in case)

But for whenever my next stream may be, I put a poll to see what games people would like to see.

Sunday works for me! If you do a NeoLemmix pack, I'd recommend any of the ones I myself have played on my channel (especially SubLems), but I've heard all of the Lemmings Plus series is good, plus Zemmings Vol 1 (but I may stream that eventually) or any of GigaLems' packs would be good.

There's also Reverse Lemmings, but that pack is kind of meh.

I might get to stream in about 1 and a half hours [12:30 Eastern time]

Lemmings is currently winning so I'll guess I'll do something along those lines.

it'll be on youtube same as before, if you'd like to get on skype as well that'd be awesome.

I didn't stream yesterday for anyone unaware; so you didn't miss anything.
But it's looking like I'll get a more stable time to stream tomorrow, Monday around 2:30 PM Eastern time; that's 5 or 6ish in Europe, earlier in Western US And Canada.

I'll probably be speedrunning Antichamber, then do some random lemmings levels. Antichamber will either go quickly or I'll get stumped and have to give up.

I may miss that stream as I'll probably be driving home from college at that time and then catching up with my family. :(

mmm, well if there's not many here to watch well depending on who's here to watch may dictate what I decide to play. If nobody's around I might not stream at all. I'll just wait and see what happens tomorrow...

Sadly it doesn't look like I'll be streaming in the near future. But I'm keeping this topic open  because I'll certainty get time again eventually.

I changed the poll. Don't worry I remembered the votes from the previous poll; Lemmings and Pokemon got the most votes.

If I get to stream again, I'll probably be doing a speedrun of Antichamber then some Lemmings stuff if I have time. Unless my mind changes by then.

Watching Simon and Icho play Nepsters pack makes me want to try this sort of thing again.

I *may* get time to stream this Saturday, in the afternoon (EST). If I do, I'll be streaming pokemon Sapphire, randomized nuzlocke. I might mention something on Discord about this. Although it seems interest in this has died down lately.

Next week I have a four day weekend so I'd like to try to stream then, most likely (if at all) on the Friday or Monday.
I'll probably do a pokemon thing and then requests if there's time. (request for a game that is, requests by people who show up to watch).

for any unaware and interested I've done several more episodes of Marble Drop. I've also started LPing pokemon sapphire randomized nuzlocke; which will be uploaded (first 2 episodes) in a day or so. The game is off to a crazy start!

Oh man, I remember Marble Drop. I still have my disc for it but don't have a computer that can play it. Or maybe I do but don't know how to make it work.
Also where is your YouTube channel? Without a link I doubt I'll find it...

I explain in the first video (and in the description) how I play it, using a Virtual Box).

<GigaLem> To be honest i just wish we could be more active for when streams are involved
<mobius`> yeah people seemed to have lost interest in streaming atm
<mobius`> the past couple of times I annoucned I had time to stream nobody seemed interested

I don't care when you merely have time -- I care when you stream a game matching my narrow interests. I watched your Lix community pack attacks, but I wouldn't watch Pokemon. Watching and chatting in other people's streams is a serious commitment, it binds several hours.

You want involvement explicitly from the Lemmings comunity, that needs planning, early announcements, and sticking to the plan. How many Lemmings forumers does Arty pull?

I don't announce Jazz runs in #lix anymore. Akseli, geoo, and Proxima watch the record on youtube, but wouldn't watch every attempt. I rely on twitch followers and sticking to the same time of day. I still get 3-4 viewers on average, but some prefer to lurk, I have a dead chat about 1 in 3 streams. I don't mind!

How many Lemmings forumers does Arty pull?

It really depends on what I stream. Lemmings streams definitely attract the most people, usually around 6 or 7 people, while other streams like my last Undertale one get closer to 3 or 5 people.
