I've started uploading videos again. I uploaded a couple Marble Drop videos and I'll be uploading some pokemon later too. These are actually videos I recorded a month ago but never got around to uploading. I'd like to continue making more soon though.

Activity on my channel may be a bit intermittent until further notice due to recent happenings.

I've got plenty of content for the time being but this is more for when the content runs low and I don't have time to record anymore :(

this Thursday evening and Friday afternoon I may get time to stream. I think I will stream the contest again; this time doing the levels I didn't do last time and any that I back routed (only 1 if I'm correct). After that Jazz Jackrabbit or more QFK maybe on the docket.

btw; I'm not voting until I do this.

8-) Just uploaded my first Lemming video to Youtube!
https://youtu.be/FVEQjarLIMY

I found the 4 stairs solution to Steel Block Party to be too hard to manage - invariably I'd run out of diggers/set climber to dig too late / miss the timing and have all lemmies walk back / dig in such a way that another little step would form so all lemmings would walk back etc.

So I came up with this one.
Playing: Lemmings Revolution
Solved: 93 - Unsolved: 9 - Unreached: 0
Last completed level: The Long And Winding Road

TURN SOUND DOWN A BIT. Fast forwarding is noisy!
Playing: Lemmings Revolution
Solved: 93 - Unsolved: 9 - Unreached: 0
Last completed level: The Long And Winding Road

For those of you following the videos on my channel, I'm sure you've noticed content has been different everyday recently.

I've got the content on a 6 day loop at the moment so that it's something different each day, kind of similar to what Arty has been doing all along except I'm not keeping it to specific day.

From Monday 11th Dec however, I'll trial what Arty's been doing and try and keep the Lemmings content off of his SEB Lems LP video days (Wed, Fri and Sun), that way between me and Arty, there will be a Lemmings video from either of us if you're subscribed to us both :)

So I'll do the following.

Mon: Lemmings Redux
Tues: Lemmings Plus Talismans (I will play through the packs in order up to Omega II then play Omega II's Talismans)
Wed: Sonic Video (Unleashed, followed by Sonic Heroes, Generations, Sonic 3 and Knuckles etc.)
Thurs: Lemmings Plus Omega II
Fri: Lix Community Pack Video
Sat: Other Misc Lemmings Playthroughs which I'm currently attempting off screen. (Eg. Reunion, Migration, Lemmingbytes)
Sun: Sonic Video (see Wed above)

Coming up on my channel soon:

Lemmings Squared Playthrough (pack by nin10doadict) - starting Monday 29th January and every Monday after that. Replacing Lemmings Redux's slot
DoveLems Playthrough (pack by Dodochacalo) - starting Thursday 1st February and every Thursday after that. Replacing Lemmings Plus Omega II's slot which will go to replay format with post commentary following Part 8 on 25th January.
A Master Degree in Lemmings Playthrough (pack by Duuddu) - starting Saturday 3rd February and every Saturday after that following the completion of the Lemmings Reunion Hurt Me Plenty post commentary videos.
The Making of SEB Lems - starting Tuesday 20th March and every Tuesday after that following the completion of the LPIII and LPIV Talisman hunt series.

The Making of SEB Lems - This series will be similar to namida's Thoughts on the Lemmings Plus level series where I show the official solutions to all of the SEB Lems levels and talk about my thoughts about the levels, the meaning behind the levels, some people who played the pack and sent me replays may even have their replays used in these videos of course credit will be given :)
Likewise Wafflem will also be making videos talking about the thought behind his collaboration levels used in SEB Lems and will be uploading them to his channel.

There is no change to Fridays which will still be Lix videos
Wed and Sundays will still be Sonic video dedicated days :)

So the new schedule will be from next month

Mon: Lemmings Squared
Tues: Talisman videos from LPIII/LPIV (after 20th March: Making of SEB Lems)
Wed: Sonic video
Thurs: DoveLems
Fri: Lix video
Sat: A Master Degree in Lemmings
Sun: Sonic video

Note: Remember that Arty is releasing SEB Lems LP videos every Wed, Fri and Sun on his channel :)
AND Proxima is doing a Sonic video every Tuesday on his channel :)

I've started another Youtube series, not sure how long it'll go on for (it could really go on for as long as I like, given the source material).

I'm doing recordings of myself playing the daily challenges in Spelunky (PC version).

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLVWvcY0oGEFw7AtUiYi5NzHhykevRxd4H

It's a great game - and the levels are randomly-generated, so (aside from the same day's daily challenge, as the whole point of the daily challenge is that it's the same for everyone who plays) you don't have to worry about level layout spoilers. Of course, there are elements that are secret but more or less the same between runs, so it could still spoil those to some extent.
My Lemmings projects
2D Lemmings: NeoLemmix (engine) | Lemmings Plus Series (level packs) | Doomsday Lemmings (level pack)
3D Lemmings: Loap (engine) | L3DEdit (level / graphics editor) | L3DUtils (replay / etc utility) | Lemmings Plus 3D (level pack)

I think it's time to finally and officially start my YouTube channel :)

I don't want to stick to a schedule because I know for a fact that I won't be able to stick to it. Therefore, I will try to upload a video every other day in order to create a nice buffer zone for my current real life schedule. Hopefully, this will only be temporary.

Videos will mostly consist of a lot of Lemmings/Lix content and non-Lemmings/Lix stuff. However, the very first thing I want to do is a Lemmings Migration: Creator's Commentary series. Similar to namida's thoughts on his Lemmings Plus packs and a similar series Flopsy will do for SEBLems, I'll be going to go through each one of my levels for Lemmings Migration and just talk about what inspired them, fun facts, etc. I will be showing the intended solutions to these levels so spoiler warning!

Further to my above message, I am dropping my Sunday slot on my channel with immediate effect so I will be back to 6 videos a week for now.

The only exception to this will be Sunday April 1st where I have a special video planned :)

This means there will only be Sonic videos on Wednesdays now.

Also, The Making of SEB Lems has been delayed for now. It will be replaced by Lemmicks (by Strato Incendus) which will be starting on Tuesday 20th March following the LPIV Talisman LP :)

Mon: Lemmings Squared
Tues: Talisman videos from LPIV (after 20th March: Lemmicks)
Wed: Sonic video
Thurs: DoveLems (Long term LP) - Maso co-commentator videos start on August 16th :)
Fri: Lix video (until further notice)
Sat: A Master Degree in Lemmings (followed by Lemmings Migration Migraine rank in Post Commentary)
Sun: No video

Future LPs planned: PimoLems, LPV Talismans, LP Omega Talismans

Post Commentary format: Lemmings Reunion, LP Omega II

Sonic Heroes, Sonic 4, The Making of SEB Lems

Quite a packed schedule you have there! :) At least, there's a low risk in case you get stuck on any particular pack - or a given one turns out to not live up to your expectations ;) .

After all, you seem to be the first one playing Lemmicks, since I haven't received any feedback on it whatsoever so far, neither during development phase nor post-release. Hence, it's still in its primal state, probably including a lot of backroutes.

So either, people are still messing around with it, or don't want to deal with the hassle of getting back into NeoLemmix 1.43, which I expected to some extent.

Then again, I also seem to have a talent for releasing my packs just around the time of a Level Design Contest, so perhaps people are merely busy with that! :D
My packs so far:
Lemmings World Tour (New & Old Formats), my music-themed flagship pack, 320 levels - Let's Played by Colorful Arty
Lemmings Open Air, my newest release and follow-up to World Tour, 120 levels
Paralems (Old Formats), a more flavour-driven one, 150 levels
Pit Lems (Old Formats), a more puzzly one, 100 levels - Let's Played by nin10doadict
Lemmicks, a pack for (very old) NeoLemmix 1.43 full of gimmicks, 170 levels

Thought I'd post here that I'm looking for a co-commentator on my LP of Super Mario 64 X Ocarina of Time. If you're interested, you can throw a PM my way with your schedule and we can try to work something out.
