Status: Both actually were accessible, but the issue was the editor reported conflicting version numbers in different places (removed the one of these that tends to be wrong), while the player didn't make it very obvious - it appeared at the end of the main menu scroller's texts (changed it so it appears as a third constantly-visible text line, below the pack name and the custom second line).

Let me present to you: THE NEW NEOLEMMIX MANUAL
  • everything you ever wanted to know and then some...
  • searchable and with lots of in-document hyperlinks...
  • many pictures (even with a :8(): in action!)

There are still a few known issues:
  • Introduction section needs a decent text. Unfortunately my literary skills are insufficient for this task. Any help is welcome here.

Many thanks to namida for patiently answering my questions and proofreading.

Any feedback, suggestions, reports on incorrect statements or missing information, ... is very welcome.
If you notice any hyperlink that jumps to the line below the corresponding heading, please report this as well. When left to itself, that :devil: hyperref-package does this every time. Argh!

Status: I'm unable to reproduce this myself, but since multiple people have reported it, I figure it's not an isolated issue from an unusual setup. I've changed how the game handles exiting when Cancel is clicked, and this should hopefully prevent issues. I sent a test version out to a few people; all of them either said the crash no longer occurs, or didn't respond at all (so I'm assuming no news is good news). If you did have this bug, and weren't sent a test version, just try with the newest experimental release. Until / unless I hear otherwise, I'm assuming this bug is fixed.

Status: Will look into a short-term fix, but the ideal fix is a major change to the underlying system of handling the changes between screens in NeoLemmix. This shares a common root with the following problems:

Can't tab back into game, Windows 7
Moving window moves only part
Flickering between screens in windowed mode <--- this topic remains open

Status: Described behaviour is intended, due to the different values of talisman being weighted differently.

Status: Both suggested changes have been implemented.

Status: Some changes implemented.
NOT CHANGED: Behaviour of a lemming who lands while in an updraft remains unchanged.
NOT CHANGED: No changes are being made to updraft trigger areas.
CHANGED: Instead of decreasing distance fallen by 1 each pixel, the distance fallen is simply reset to 0 on any pixel where a lemming is in an updraft.

Status: I feel more changes than simply removing the option are justified in regards to this; see reply #7. These changes have been implemented for the next update.

Status: V1.40n has added improved buttons when playing packs that are made for (or upgraded to) V1.40n or higher; retroactively applyinging them to older packs is probably more hassle than it's worth.

Status: Changed from "Bug" to "Suggestion" as current behaviour is intended.

Have decided against allowing Walkers to be used on Swimmers.

Have decided in favor of making swimmer-bombers apply destruction mask as normal, and implemented this for the next update.



Original Post

I am not sure whether the following two behaviors are intended or not. At least I did not expect them to be that way.

1) One cannot assign walkers to swimming swimmers. As walkers have an effect in pretty much any situation, this strikes me as weird.

2) A swimming swimmer explodes when given the bomber skill, but never removes any terrain. As one doesn't see this behavior in other situations, it was probably precisely coded that way. But I see no reason why?
