Is this where I contact the webmaster/-mistress for NeoLemmix? Your lights are on - I mean, your miners box is out of order in Extra Official Levels Level List > Sega 8.

Can some of this stuff be stored elsewhere?

I've often thought there ought to be a way to rate all these levels objectively, like how "Loogaroo" rates game shows, on a combined scale of 1-10: rate them by several different categories and combine.

There oughta be a set of levels, one per game, to check for all messages. E.g. All the 6's from L1. If necessary, two or more to check if you can't do one in, say, ONML.

The other user's idea was to save 100%. Me, I just add a solution if it seems like there's a shortcut that involves glitches, or else there's clues that suggest a solution.

For example, "PoP YoR ToP" has a clue in the title, has many bombers, and doesn't require 100%; so, it doesn't seem like it was meant to do otherwise.

I'm not sure I agree with your thoughts on Taxing 1; that last pillar is a pain to mine through, and the title isn't something like, "Get up real close" or something. I'm open for arguments, though.

I added a list of backrouted levels. Someone tried to add Fun 17, but you can't really backroute those levels, so I got rid of it. Thoughts?

According to Lemmings Universe:

Quote
New Year Lemmings 1991/92 for Amiga

Released in 1991. This game for Amiga was made by Gaston^Splatt and published by Fairlight (whoever these people are). It is totally identical to Holiday Lemmings, except for the levels. There is one rating called Kickass consisting of 5 levels. It seems that Gaston has made the levels by editing the original files.

It should have said,

There is only one rating, called Kickass, consisting of 5 levels.

I've often thought, why not have lemmings build their own homes or something.

Lemmings Main / Re: ONML music titles

Her music names are after level names when she can't identify them. My question is, what level names fit the musics? For example, she says:
Quote
Mind The Step - Oh by the way, I wasn't sure what, if anything some of these songs were called, so I just named them after a level that I felt fit the song. For example, this one [Tim 5] sounds like careful treading, so I named it after that level where you have to navigate a single lemming through a bunch of obstacles.

Lemmings Main / ONML music titles
« on: January 31, 2017, 10:29:07 PM »
In CodieKitty's Lemmings music page, she gives titles to unknown tunes after the name of a level she thinks fits it. (Except that the ever-familiar Lemming 1, which she used to call Take Good Care of My Lemmings, she calls Pachelbel's Canon, which doesn't sound like it to me. You might recognize it as the one the original DOS version keeps resetting to when you fail, or the level 2 tune on Mac, Amiga or SNES.)

She doesn't name the six ONML tunes because she doesn't like the game as much. What might they be called? There are no right or wrong answers; I just wanna hear people's thoughts.

Humm... This is exactly the title screen music from "Shadow Of The Beast" on SMS. It must be a mistake or a joke. But you can download from SMS Power the beta version of Lemmings, and try to rip it or find it on Fun 22.
I doubt it was either. I think they recorded it, but it was too complex to do or something, so they just did the "budget" version.

Nope, it wasn't that. It looked like the normal Amiga/PC version, and the Fun, Tricky, Taxing, and Mayhem levels had one mode each, with exclusive levels having two modes, easy and hard.
