DOS - Taxing 4 - Lend a helping hand

40 lemmings
Save: 30 (75%)
Release rate 50
7 minutes

5 bombers, 4 blockers, 20 builders, 2 bashers, 2 miners, 2 diggers.

Good: Another solid 2 entrancer. Good use of the spike traps.
Bad: 7 minutes is too much for a short looking level.

I wonder why you are not allowed to review two levels at once though. Should there be some feedback or something?

I don't think it's a "trick" in the way of a glitch but I think I've got the right solution. Highlight the hidden text below to see it.

Make the first lemming a climber and a floater. Let him build to the exit and increase the rate to 99.

On topic, who's going to do the next level?  I have already played the level after this one, and am waiting for my turn to come around to put it up.

Do it then. :)

What good thing happened to you today?  Post here!

No school!  :D

That can't happen to me, I'm afraid. I have to go back next week (For only one more year).

Anyway, the good thing that happened to me is that I've written a music composition of 6 flats!

And also, having to bump this topic from the bottom to the top! :P

I see you've updated your level pack, Clam Spammer. The look of level 8 is awesome! 8)

I know that this works on Lemmini. I also want levels with more than 4 entrances! I once had a level pack (which I deleted because it wasn't popular enough).

Does that mean you can have 50 climbers and 50 floaters? If so, it's quite easy.

It not for the one minute timer. :(

I agree. I like my table WITHOUT the stupid DOS thing. ><img src=" title="Angry" class="smiley" /> How many people have DOS in the whole wide world? I know, about 10 or so. This is not going to be a popular fangame and I don't want to play it if DOS is required. I know some people have Windows 7 (especially Mr Kiwi) and their DOS have a somewhat awkward colour palette. I don't know if this is sorted out, but please, think of a more modern software like Java please.

Hooray! I was the first person to try Giga's levels! If only they could do with some changes for use of Customised lemmings, these levels are really good. These levels I wouldn't consider Mayhem although Level 7 was the only one I couldn't do.

Level 1: May have been seriously backrouted (i.e. too easy). I didn't need a climber for this one.
Level 2: Pretty good. A fair bit of precision required here.
Level 3: Has a surprise of a hidden exit. Not bad, although Part 2 is harder. :P
Level 4: Too easy. Up that rate to make it harder.
Level 5: I've done it with 10 builders to spare, so not hard enough for a double entancer.
Level 6: Terrain looks a bit messy but it's a little bit harder.
Level 7: The biggest challenge of this set, will you tell me if this level is possible? A nicer looking level too.
Level 8: Way too easy but I like the lemming train.
Level 9: A good challenge although I only lost one lemming rather than 20.
Level 10: Let me say this to you on this level: Nobody wants a hidden exit on the last level without telling.

I've done it at last! Saving both bombers and a builder, here's the solution:
Quote
Let the first lemming dig (A few lemmings will be lost thanks to the high release rate). When half way down let him mine a bit then build. Use the blinking cursor feature on the right to let someone build left out of the pit. Use it again to mine right when the lemmings climb to the top of the ramp. Build over the created gap. Let someone from the right side of the new pit build a step so that they jump to the next pit. Quickly bash the wall on the right and then let the last lemming build to the exit.

Quite interesting, but I get sent to Mike Dailly's home page. :P It can be hard for some people to see the lemmings bit (Not me though, all sorts of stuff in there). Could you try modifying the link a little bit? It is hard to memorise.
