The way that the session will be planned is that half of the Jackbox games are picked from a list we have already chosen from (About 1 per pack with a backup pick if that game is picked) in order to reduce the number of times we need to switch packs. People that attend will be able to decide the other half. I will use a wheel to pick out a player to choose a Jackbox game they want to play. People who attended but didn't pick a game in the previous session will have increased priority.

You're allowed to pick from the following games (Assuming that they have not been played in the session yet):

Quiplash* (Defaults to Quiplash 2 [Pack 3])
You Don't Know Jack (YDKJ: Full Stream [Pack 5])
Drawful* (Defaults to Drawful Animate [Pack 8])
Fibbage* (Defaults to Fibbage 4 [Pack 9])
Trivia Murder Party* (Defaults to TMP2 [Pack 6])
Bidiots [Pack 2]
Earwax [Pack 2]
Tee K.O. [Pack 3]
Guesspionage [Pack 3]
Monster Seeking Monster [Pack 4]
Survive the Internet [Pack 4]
Bracketeering [Pack 4]
Civic Doodle [Pack 4]
Split the Room [Pack 5]
Mad Verse City [Pack 5]
Patently Stupid [Pack 5]
Dictionarium [Pack 6]
Joke Boat [Pack 6]
Role Models [Pack 6]
Push the Button [Pack 6]
The Devils and the Details [Pack 7]
Champ'd Up [Pack 7]
Talking Points [Pack 7]
Blather 'Round [Pack 7]
Job Job [Pack 8]
The Poll Mine [Pack 8]
Wheel of Enormous Proportions [Pack 8]
Weapons Drawn [Pack 8]
Roomerang [Pack 9]
Nonsensory [Pack 9]
Junktopia [Pack 9]
Quixort [Pack 9]

*For the case of series games such as Quiplash, Fibbage and Trivia Murder Party. We'll play a specific version of it if you specifically ask for it. The exception being YDKJ as the one in Pack 1 only supports 4 players and no audience.

Forbidden games (These Jackbox games cannot be selected):
Word Spud [Pack 1]
Lie Swatter [Pack 1]
Bomb Corp [Pack 2]
Fakin' it [Pack 3]
Zeeple Dome [Pack 5]

I might be able to go.

I live in South Yorkshire (Rotherham to be precise). I don't drive but Leeds should be easy for me to get to by train from where I am. I'll see if I can also convince my sister to help me plan this meetup as she has more travel experience than I do.

I live down in Nottingham and have transport to get to a meet up location, Leeds is about 80 miles from me so getting to the north is possible for me provided it doesn't get any more north than that, getting to the north west would be tougher for me though.
Could even pick up others between Nottingham and Leeds (or wherever the meet up ends up to be) who have no means to get to the meet up. My car is not a very big one though.

So Rotherham and Sheffield are literally between Leeds and Nottingham so there is a possibility that Flopsy could pick me up on route.

In terms of dates, I think I can do most days. However I cannot do 28th June as that is my birthday and I'll be doing something that day.

So on level previews, The lemming count would always say "X Lemmings". This suggestion would allow people to change what custom lemmings are described as on level preview screens.

One way that this could be implemented is for the game to check the scheme.nxmi file in the lemmings folder of a style to check whether it has lines like this (I'll use Lemminas as an example):

Code: [Select]
$LEMMING_STATS
 NAME LEMMINAS
$END

This feature would make it so that if it finds this line when using a specific theme; It would change "X Lemmings" to "X Lemminas". If it doesn't find a line like this, it will remain as "X Lemmings".

I plan to join this one. :lix-smile:

Live Event Scheduling / Re: Future of LF forum Jackbox sessions?
« on: March 11, 2023, 12:45:13 AM »
I'm always happy to help host Jackbox. I do own pack 9 along with the other packs so it's all good. I think 6pm UTC during either a Saturday or Sunday would be a comfortable start time for everyone when we do host a session but we can always get feedback just in case. We can discuss more about plans for the sessions privately if you want Flopsy.

As for everyone else, Thanks for your support.

I've never played Lix multiplayer but I'm eager to give it a try. I'm more familiar with Lemmings than Lix, etc. Are these games open to anyone who wants to drop by?

PS: I know I'll be terrible at Lix, but it still seems like fun...

We are always welcome to new faces for Lix. :lix-grin:
Simply download Mumble and PM Simon for the mumble server information.
Although not required, we do recommend you having a microphone or headset for voice chat.

Thanks for being interested. :lix-smile:

23
I'm all up for playing that weekend too. :lix-wink:

24
I should be free either day. :lix-smile:
If Simon has a preference for Sunday 27th, we can go with that if you want...

@Apjjm

Your solution to my rule 3 wasn't exactly intended. I've updated my level to V2.

@Apjjm

Both of your solutions to my levels are backroutes but I've made easy fixes to them.
